Setsuko Hara is a Japanese actress who used to appear in the films of Akira Kurosawa, Yasujiro Ozu, Mikio Naruse and so on. She is called "Eternal Virgin" in Japan and was a simbol of Japanese film`s golden era of the 1950s. I would like to introduce her career and Japanese films.
