My name is Kazumasa Hasegawa.I am an accupuncturist in Japan. In this site, I will introduce koryo hand therapy in english to all of the world.

Koryo means Korea. Tae Woo Yoo ph.D.,O.M.D.(president of Koryo Hand Therapy Institute,Seoul Korea) in eary fall of 1971 happend to discover acupoints on the hands and invest needls of koryo hand therapy.Now he established Koryo Hand Therapy medicine.
I think he is a genius.Because he find that a small part include all. This thought is same as horograpy.He said he was inspirerd from parieto-skeretal reflex. But this theory was discoverd by his own. Most of all ,orientalmedicine  comes from ancient chinies books. His theory about acupoints and meridians of hands had not been mentiond for a 3or4thousands years of chinies medical history .
Now for 30 years he popuralised this therapy. Then I heard ,in korea one million peoples has studied and used in their homes, hospitals and therapy rooms. In U.S.A. he has given lecturs in and from 1987. Other place in Russia.
In japan unfortunetly this is unknown therapy. He came to japan and gave lectures enthusiasticaly from 1978.
Nowadys he has come to Nagoya every second year. But never popuralized from now.

Why is KHT so effective? Have you ever seen the illustration of The Cerebral Cortex of Man written by Penfield W Rasumussen.It showed us how big area our hand ocuupied in our sensorimotor cortex. Then if we should stimulate our hands by KHT needling, our brain should react so much.
Oriental medicine is another called "Qi medicine".Acupuncturist manage this Qi and controll it by needling. Hand is small area for needling.And we can find 12 meridians and feel flow of Qi. It is very convenient place of treatment.Fundamental treatment,stimulating hormons and immunity mechanism,so I could make cure serious diseases like cancer,arthritis,diabetis, hepatitis type c, schizophrenia,asthma, so on.
