This therapy was invented by Mr Tae Woo Yoo Ph.D.,O.M.D. (photo) He is the president of Koryo Hand Therapy Institute of  Korea. In early fall of 1971,he had been worried about his treatment of acupuncture.At One midnight he woke up because of his headache.He was eager to cure backpain of head by using all his techniques,but in vain.Then he had sudden inspiration.He looked upon a top of his middle finger as his head.He pricked needle up his finger.Pain had gone away quickly.This is the begining .He studied about relation between hand and body for five years.At last in korea I heard one million of people had his lecture.Now he has been publishing many books and making seminers in U.S.A ,Japan and many other coutries.
I think he is a genius.Because he find the theory which a small part or area includes all .
This theory is just as  same as holography.Nowadays we know this theory applied to any other parts of the body,head ,ear,the sole of the foot so on.Even in 30 years ago,he found
it.But we never have to miss that we can find meridians only in our palm.So,we can make meridian treatment.In korea 500years ago preast zuigang ,he build up theory of meridian treatment.When one meridian is in disorder,weakness excess,chill,feve,wind,moisture and dry.If we should not  treat it,we could not recover from unpleasant condition or disease.
Hand we say hand is second brain.So,we insert needles in hand,we stimulate brain system,
the same meaming.And hand is smaller than body.then we can do both meridian treatment and stimulating acupoints of organs.This is another his finding based on parieto-skeletal reflex.This means secretion of hormons.
The highly advansed theory and small part area of treatment bring great effect.
Anyway,this theory,his findings and effects  open the door to the New World of medicine.
