Cornell University, USA. The major was international economics (Prof. Vanek) with
econometrics (Prof. Liu) and economic development (Prof. Golay) as minor subjects. With
Prof. Liu, built monthly (as opposed to regular quarterly) econometric model of the USA.
The Ph.D thesis submitted in 1974 was entitled "The Balance of payments and economic
Policy in Japan, 1953-65". |
