KSGF stands for Kanagawa Student Guide Federation, itis constructed of 7 universities in Kanagawa prefecture and we guide people from overseas around Kamakura and Yokohama in English. We guide them for free because we would like to improve our English by it .

KSGF was established in 1974 with a group of about 150 students from six universities in Kanagawa prefecture. This volounteer service was established as an assistance to foreign visitors, as well as an opportunity for students to improve theire English conversational ability. We hope to foster international friendship through this activity.

To use our service, simply find us just outside of the east exit of Kamakura station from 10.00 to 12.00 in the morning. On weenkends, we are normally there. But to make sure you can make a reservation at least one week prior to the day you request. You can call to either reception clerk:Tomoaki Saitou(090-9845-5938) or the Tourist Information Center(03-3201-3337).
You can also book our guide through e-mailing here; kamakuraguide@hotmail.com.

Please let us know your name and where you're from, number of tourists, time and date you request and your contact number in Japan.

We guide mainly Kamakura, but if you would like to see around Yokohama, we can organise something for you too.

Every year, we have general meetings twice a year, deciding its policy of the year. We also have interesting events so that all the members get to know each other and develop our activities.
