| May 6 , 2004 The finalists of UEFA Champions League was decided. They are Monako and Porto. Many fans of football are bored by these results because each of them have no star player. But, I don't think so. I think these results are showing real state of European football scene. Many people have thought that the European football scene was monopolized by a few clubs because they have got many star players. That has not been true. I think that European football scene is a good situation, and I expect the final. |
| May 5 , 2004 I went around the town connected with my school days, for example, Nagamachi, Yagiyama, Aobayama, Katahira, Ichiban-cho Nakayama, Sakuragaoka and so on. I remembered my student life. I ate Sushi at "Umai Sushikan" which has been my favorite Sushi bar. If I get a chance to go to Sendai next time, I wish to have a lunch or supper at "Genkiya" which has been my favorite restaurant. (Another sights are Amano Hashidate and Miyajima.) We got on board a ship and went around Matsushima-bay by ship. There were many beautiful sights even though the weather was cloudy. | May 3 , 2004 I went to Sendai and met with some of my friends. We ate "Gyu-Tan (tongue?)" which is the tongue of beef broiled with salt. And we drank many kinds of alcoholic drinks at Kokubun-cho. It was a long time since I finished graduate school. I enjoyed this night. |

Tochigi where I live in now is good city and have many specialities, but that have no sea. Therefore I am not satisfied with Sushi and many cooking with fish. Do I ask too much ? |
| May 1 , 2004 I went to Tochio with my parents and some of their acquaintances. Tochio is a rural city in Niigata prefecture, and that is near by Nagaoka city. Tochio's specialities are a handball, rice, rice wine "Koshi-no-Kagetora" and so on. There are water "Todo-no-Mori" which is one of 100 representative water of Japan, and many beautiful scenes. I took some pictures of them. I will open them to this site. |
