I am British and have been living in Japan for the past year teaching English to kids at a privately run language school. I had the time of my life at Newcastle studying European languages and if anyone has any questions about Newcastle life from a natives point of view please don`t hesitate to get in touch. Dear all As the webmaster of the Japan Branch of University of Newcastle upon Tyne Alumni Association, I managed to update the site and would like you to leave any kind of message on the message board. I recieved an e-mail from a Japanese college student who joined Ryugaku Fair in Japan and started thinking to study at Newcastle. She wanted to know the good and bad of our college life in Newcastle. So I would be most grateful if you could write any coments on what your life in Newcastle was. サイトを開設してから、はじめて留学を考えている方からのお問い合わせのメールをいただきました。久しぶりに「妙にうれしい気持ち」になり、ニューカッスル時代のことをあれこれ思い出しました。帰国してもう４年が過ぎてしまって、イギリスに行く用があっても、North East Englandまでは足を運ぶことがなかったので、最近はどうなっているのかなあ、と思いました。ということで、ニューカッスル時代の話とか、最近どうなっている、といった話をこのページに書いていただけるととてもうれしく思います。

こんにちは。跡部さんの書き込みにあったように、台湾からのコースメイトが来日したのですが、私も急遽関西へ飛んで、西宮の清水さんと３人で軽～く盛り上がったのでした。こういうミニ同窓会は個人レベルで盛んなんですけどね・・・。そのうち on-line reunion ってのはどうですか？

Hello! Is there anyone to remember me? After coming back Japan in 1996, I was still not confident to be an English teacher. I am currently working as a secretary (including translation and interpretation) for a Dutch company. I am happy to be here, but I still would not like to give up my goal as a teacher. ようやく掲示板が稼働しました。
