I am a LIon.
Hello, I am a lion. I come to
Phoenix from time to time. At Phoenix speaking Japanese is
prohibited.. It is very tough.
English is so hard that--with slight exaggeration--I am afraid of
it.
We make drama presentations using English only. It is unbelievable, isn’t it?.
My first drama presentation at Matumoto (Matumoto is the former name of Phoenix) was The Wizard of Oz(adviser was Mr,Taguchi). Do you know this musical? Actually I didn’t know the story in those days.
I used to be afraid of acting in front of people so I didn't like drama so much. I was not a cast member in the drama, I just operated lighting from the back stage.
In the story of The Wizard of Oz, a cowardly lion appears. His wish is to get courage. I was like this cowardly lion.
I have joined a few drama productions since then. It is still hard, but now, I think the spirit of Phoenix "Yes, I can and I will try." worked.
Now I can appear on the stage as a cowardly lion. I am not a human being yet. I have a dream. God, let me become a human being!
I have a dream that one day a beautiful girl will appear and kiss me and I will get courage and become a man. She is like a witch who has a magic power.

Even though I have a dream that one day a beautiful girl will appear and kiss me, reality is not so easy as a dream. I will tell you the fact. I appeared on the drama, Lisistrata (adviser, Christy), which is a story in old Greek. In the drama women's power was so strong and Lisistrata, who is the leader of the girls, ordered men to stop the war. I would rather choose death than obeying her. I asked God, "Let me die. "As soon as the women heard my words, they began to prepare for a coffin for my dead body. Now I am a dead person. I am a ghost.
In the drama, Nightmare Before
Christmas(adviser, Mr.Inagaki),I belonged to the world of
dead people. One day a king, a skeleton, in a ghost 
and dead world
saw the living world at Christmas times. He was shocked, because
the world was colorful and people were cheerful. He became a
Santa Close and gave presents to children in the living world.
However his presents were the things like a scary snake, worm.
cockroaches etc. He thought children would be glad . But people
in the living world were surprised and got angry to those scary
presents. So they shot that Santa, skeleton.

After all I am old type. I don't know how to cook except making instant ramen. I haven't thought much about health and family.
I didn't tell you that I acted some roles. For example in the drama, I had many children and a beautiful wife. When I heard my children singing, I sang a song which I had forgotten. I will never forget those, for example Sound of Music.
New Snack Shop in Phoenix
At Phoenix in the lobby there is a new shop selling yogurt, bread, pie, etc. The owner of the shop is Eiichi, who graduated from this school. I saw him acting in this school drama festivals. He is so cheerful that you can talk with him in English. I recommend his shop at Phoenix. He sells yogurt because it is healthy. He comes to Phoenix at night to open his shop. Many workers come to this school at night. He wants to expand his market by their connection.
He says, "Whenever you see us at this school, say hello and grab a quick snack before class. We are here to serve you. Thank you."
