What's the study? spring 2000
In this Page I would like you to introduce our classes and my friends in USA.I am a student of University of Pennsylvania, Master of Science in TESOL.
What is TESOL? Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
It's quite long, but clipped like TESOL.
This is the first semester for me.
All of the students seems to be busy these days
because of our research, observing classes and teaching.Surprisingly, I teach Japanese and English.
I have been teaching two graduate students from last month.
One student is American girl, and the other is Korean girl.
I am really encourage their attitude of studying Japanese.
You know, we are busy on the other work, nevertheless,
they try to study the other languages.I am taking three classes now. Two are on Monday, and another is on Wednesday.
Wednesday class is really helpful for international students.
In this class there are only international students.
What we study is that the method of writing paper, research method, oral presentation
and so on. Our teacher, Dr. Karen Carrier is great teacher.
I am always encouraged by her. She gives us a lot of ideas and hint.Oh, my goodness!!
I have a test on next Monday. This is the midterm exam for Educational Linguistics.
All of the students in LED(Language in Education Division) must take this course.
We are complicated of this subject........
I have to study now.
