In our life, English has become a very important language in many countries. It is said that over 1000 million people use English. Whatfs more, 250 million people are learning English in China, which is more than the population in the States. English has become the universal language. The facts that gmore English Dictionary is sold in Japan than in the Statesh, shows that many people are trying to learn English.

 There are several reasons for why people tend to learn English as a second language. In the 19th century, when the globalization proceeded, more people started to speak English. One of these reasons is because of the power of the economic and industrial in the United States of America. It has a huge influence toward other countries for trade, tourism. This made a lot of people who is connected or want to be involved, learn English. Another is the increasing population in America. Lots of people came to the States for better life and living, which put them into a situation of learning English.  In addition, in the history, 1/3 of the earthfs surface was British Empirefs colony. This indicates how many people had to speak English. For places such as India, which was a colony of the British, even after they gained independence, they adopted English to unifying the country for they had several languages with in the country. This universal connection among the countries was absolutely one of the reasons.  As in the scientific aspect, scientific paper was published in English so scientists also needed to know English. Besides, Air traffic control was done in English in 157 countries.

All these occasion drove many people to learn English. Nowadays, English is included in the education at school from the younger age. It has even become the major aspect of getting a higher statue, requirement for marriage in some countries. Also, it will give you a broader view of the world. These are some reason that many people desire to acquire English. To do so, it requires lots of work. As a result, everyone seeks for a better learning of English. Some doubt their way of learning. The fact that English is just a tool, most effective way to learn a second language (English) is called for.

After acquiring the language, you can prevent country from misunderstanding others by explaining or eloquently speaking about your country to the world. This will help to prevent the war.
