Welcome to Sun Liang's Homepage

Hello! Thanks for your visiting! I am a master of Ritsumeikan Univ. My major is Materials Engineering. My research is about the Dislocation structure of SUS304 when multi-axial fatigue test is employed. The object of my research is to describe the microstructure changes especially the dislocation structure of SUS304 stainless steel after tension-torsion non-proportional cyclic loading was employed at elevated temperature. We use the principal strain range and non-proportional factor to describe the non-proportional loading. Regarding the dislocation microstructure we will use TEM to observe the typical structures of the specimen, calculate the mean grain size, and mark the loading direction on the TEM photos. Then we compare the dislocation microstructure of different non-proportional loadings and try to throw light on the relationship between them. If you want more detail introductions please reference my Research.
July 2002, I graduated from the same major of University of Science & Technology Beijing. By then I had studied in Beijing for four years. I constructed both my knowledge structure and my character in Beijing. I love there. During my college education I had worked in Central Iron & Steel Research Institute of China and Research institute of Bao Steel as an internship. I also participated in the translation of THE STRUCTURE OF MATERIALS when I was a junior student. My graduate thesis is about the simulation of multi-element diffusion. You can download both my bachelor thesis and parts of THE STRUCTURE OF MATERIALS (Chinese Translation) in Collection page. Beside my major I am also a computer fun. I enjoy programming with C/VB and I am a certified Microsoft System Engineer.
Last September, I came to Japan to take my master degree with the support of Japan Government Scholarship (Monbusho Scholarship). By now I have been a master here for one year. Footmarks gives a list of the activities I participated and some of my feelings during this year. Relatively Resume gives a brief introduction of myself. Links page lists some useful URLs. And you can reach me from Contacts. All these links are on the top or bottom of this page.
