In this research, as Diagram 1 shows, I use documentary analysis and survey. In documentary analysis, I compare and comparison the same magazines in Japan.
and in North America, for example, ELLE and Seventeen. On the other hand, in survey, I prepare questionaires and ask them to twenty Japanese students and twenty canadian students about their lives to find out any cultural differences between Japan and North America. Moreover, I make use of class discussion web-CT on LLED206 class in University of British Columbia to get ideas from my classmates.
