Title: How to Travel

Structure:
(1) Introduction
(2) Travel alone with guides is not enough
(3) To have purposes to travel
(4) Conclusion

Example:

There are some good guide books for travel alone to foreign countries like "Chikyu no Arukikata" and "Kojinryoko", and they have made young people travel alone to a variety of countries. Traveling alone with such books is more exciting than traveling in a group because travelers, who are traveling individually, not only do sightseeing but also experience the daily life of the country they are traveling in. For example, they use public transportation, eat in cheap restaurants where local people go, and talk with local people to ask destination or something. However, I do not think that young people should satisfy merely with traveling alone with such guide books, but they should have their purpose to travel.

First, I will explain the reasons why young people should not satisfy only with traveling alone with such guide books. The books are very nice and introduce a lot of sightseeing places with the very good explanations for them. Because the books are too nice, individual travelers are tend to depend on them so much that they visit only sightseeing places which the books mention. In other words they feel satisfaction with visiting all the places the books introduce. For example, one place in Netherlands is on "Chikyu no Arukikata", and a lot of Japanese visit the place. In fact, the most of visitors there are Japanese, which means they visit there only because the place is on the book. What is important for them is "I have been there". Is it any difference from traveling in a group?

Next, I will discuss how to travel to take advantage of traveling alone. My answer is to have purposes to travel. For example, I traveled to England because I want to see the wall the Romans built about 1700 years ago, or to visit Bath where a hero and a heroine in a novel of Jane Austin spend. I took enough time there, and enjoyed imagining the Romans and the hero and the heroin of the novel. Moreover, I went to Chain Mai in Thailand to do trekking tour to communicate with foreign travelers in English. I did trekking three times successively in a trip. On the other hand, when I went to Paris, I can not enjoy because I did not have any purpose.

In conclusion, traveling alone is more exciting than travel in a group. However, just following guide books is not enough. Individual travelers should have purpose of travel. They should travel because they want to have some places to go, not because they have time and money to travel.
