As big companies have their corporate advisers and Japanese Prime Minister has Chief Cabinet Secretary, should people have advisers to help make decisions? People should be careful to reach conclusion, however, to consult with others may have negative sides. In my opinion, people should conclude the decision alone, and try to do their best so as not to regret their decision.

Consulting with others during process of decision is not always good because advisers tend to prevent people from taking a bold decision. For example, my cousin was a student of a high school whose academic reputation was high, though she was such a good athlete that another high school, which supported especially sports activities, asked her to change the schools. All her relatives were negative of her changing schools, and tried to persuade her not to do so. As another example, my friend who married a beach boy of Thailand had been objected to marry him by all her friends and relatives. It is clear that most of advisers are too conservative to support a bold decision.

I think people should reach conclusion for themselves and do their best so as not to regret the decision. For example my mother married my father although her parents were opposed to it, and she spent a very difficult time to support the business of my father for the first fifteen years of her marriage life. Now she said she did not regret to have married him because she had four children and started her own business. She satisfies her life very much. As another example, I decided alone to work for the present company on the ground that I can work as an interpreter and can get good salary. However, I should have chosen a foreign affiliated firm to improve my English. Now I am trying to do my best for my English so as not to regret the decision. In fact I do not regret at all.

In conclusion, although people should be very careful to reach decision, to consult with others for their decision is not always good. It is because the advisers may prevent people from taking a bold decision and give conservative advice. I think people make decision for themselves, and try to do their best so as not to regret their decision.
