Hi guys, Just an update on what happened today between alphonso, gerry and myself. We got the impression that Gerry is very impressed with our grasp of the project so far. In fact, for most of the meeting, we were actually updating him more than him updating us. He has made a lot of positive gestures as well, including a letter he is going to write which will clearly clarify the separation of roles between him, Citrus, Ivey, and ICFP. Gerry has also been remarkable in challenging us in asking questions. Questions which took a week for us to discover, he asked in a matter of minutes. I feel that his questions will help us ask ourselves if we’re looking at the right question. 報告になっとらんやんけ) On another note, we have mentioned to gerry of the large number of stakeholders, and that the list of stakeholders seems to be growing everytime we meet.(だから、俺らのプロジェクトにどういう影響があるねん?????) He has reminded us that our group is only a part of a larger group of resources that we are allowed to tap into. In other words, our resources are not only books and reports, but also other consultants that we should not consider competitors, but resources that add value to our project. (in other words, 10 intelligent minds are better than 4 intelligent minds).(リソースという言葉に酔っている。 One of the consultants Gerry has hired would like to meet us on Monday. I have tentatively set a time between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Alphonso cannot make it during this time, but I am hoping either Liz and/or Tetsu can come. As a side note, I got the feeling that gerry seems to be well connected with some of the smaller, but more prestigious consulting firms. As we saw, he was impressed with our understanding of the problem so far. If we continue to wow him, we may not need to worry about jobs, he may just give us one!!!(この議事録の中でもっともお粗末かつ役に立たないコメント。) (ごみこめんと) On another note, we really need to start talking amongst each other and consolidating our collective assumptions and questions. We’ve done good at setting up a process, now let’s continue by ‘getting our hands dirty’ in the meat of this project. Gerry has mentioned that in the phase we are at now, we should be coming up with three items: なんでこいつはこんな議事録しかかけないんだ???????? anyways, just to let you know what happened. |

Hi Gerry,
Myself, and possibly Liz Chang, will be able
to meet with you tomorrow at 11:30.(おまえはいつも会議とかいって出てるけど、そんなに他の奴が信用できないのか?
One item that was discussed amongst us is
how this relationship (and investment in
time) between ourselves and the external
consultant will add value to our final deliverable
of a PV number to kincardine?
Gerry
The reason this point surfaced is because
most of us are very crunched for time, and
we are trying to minimize the time we spend
on activities that add limited value to our
Relationship
Management
Anyhow, we look forward to meeting you tomorrow.
Cheers,
Ashish
