Stratford

William Shakespeare
I went on a day trip to Stratford. Stratford is well known as Shakespeare's birth place.
It is small town. Although there are a lot of tourists, I suppose that it was quieter When Shakespeare was alive. Many palaces which are related to Shakespeare still remain.
I visited Shakespeare's birth place. His family was rich, so it was big and luxurious. I could imagine his childhood life there. There is also a small museum about him next to the house. But there are not so many exhibits. Maybe, it is a reason why his life is such a mystery still now. To be honest, I had never read his books, although I read some of his books this week. I think it was a good opportunity, because if i had not had this opportunity, I would noto read books written by one of the greatest novelists in my life.
The house where Shakespeare was born.

Warwick Castle
I also visited the Warwick Castle which took just 20 minutes from Stradford city centre. The castle, with its magnificent towers and rampart, was built over 1000 years ago.
I could have seen a lot of weapons. Especially I really liked knight's armer which you can see in the picture.
Knight's armer
There were a lot of exhibition which show how elegant their life were.

King?
Although he might have been model of King, I forgot who this model was..
I went up the watchtower. This picture was taken from there. The stairs were so long and steep that I was exhausted at that time.
In olden days knights must have been in this coutyard with their horses.
