Subject: Islam is a Peaceful Religion

Dear Muslims

Allah SW, Who is the most Merciful against His creatures, has created man as the best among the others. And He SW sent many messengers to them to explain the best way of life, to be happy in this world and in the Hereafter. As the last messenger He SW sent Muhammad SAW as the best and eternal model for humanity. Muhammad SW made His tablig to mankind expressed the universal principles under the name of Islam. Allah SW and Muhammad SAW ordered people to follow those principles.

Let me give you an example from the Holy Book of Allah SW:

“Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; He admonishes you that you may be mindful.”（Suratun Nahl, verse 90）

Dear Muslims, let’s give a look what Allah SW ordered us to do or not to do, in the verse above.

“Adalat”: It means justice: Allah SW ordered us to be fair-minded. Protect the law and righteous. Respect the rights of other beings.

“Ehsan”: It means to act well, to do good deeds, to supply benefit for others. The wide meaning of Ehsan is, trying to be a good servant of Allah SW, as if He SW has been watching us. 

To be kind for relatives and neighbors: Try to protect them from any kind of evil doings. Try to serve them in a good manner. Try to build a strong relationship among the members of the society.

At the same time, there are some bad deeds which have been forbidden by Allah SW. For example:

“Fahsha”: It is a general usage to explain any king of badness like zina.

“Munkar”: Any kind of action and behavior which are accepted bad by the religion and the mind.

“Bagy”: It means haughtiness, arrogance, imperiousness. Because of to assure self superiority to oppress, persecute and make miserable other people.

No need to say that these kind of bad things undermine the structure of the society, and lead it to collapse as soon as possible.

Dear Muslims, today, humanity is in danger, people are not happy, the expectations from tomorrow are not clear. The weak people are sad and unhappy. Nobody is trying to stop their crying. Love and kindness have been leaving from the hearts of the people, and the hearts are getting solid like stones.  

However, the reason of the creation of mankind is to serve his Creator. The reason of being created is to establish the system of love, peace and tolerance among the creatures. The life must be a try among mankind to do good deeds and to support, help each other, properly.

Dear Muslims, Allah SW says in Suratul Maeda 2: “…incite you to exceed the limits, and help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil).”

Dear Muslims, the absence of good principles and deeds, the expansion of arrogance and bad deeds are not acceptable by Allah SW. He SW says in one Hadis ul Quds: “My Abds, I prohibited zuml for myself. And I prohibited it among you, too. Do not make zulm among yourselves.”

And Allah SW warns zalim in the 42^nd verse of Surai Ibrahim of Al Quran: “And do not think Allah to be heedless of what the unjust do; He only respites them to a day on which the eyes shall be fixedly open”
