This area is really beautiful and interesting!! You can't miss it. |
Many local musicians play New Orleans jazz on the street. If you like them, you can buy CDs played by them there and also give a large tip to them. I was really moved. It was my first time to listen to the real jazz. I noticed that the instruments that they played were old.... it means they practice hard and really love music. Everyone who listen to this real jazz might be addicted to jazz!! |

There are a lot of restaurants and shops in New Orleans. One of restaurants we went served us greatest lunch that we've ever had. They have good alcohol too, so if you like drinking alcohol a lot, you have to stop by and get it!! We took this picture right after finishing lunch. We couldn't help being happy because our heart was full with much satisfaction. Do you wanna be like us?? If so, go to New Orleans! |
Powerful and beautiful, the Mississippi River is the third largest river in the world. It has played and will continue to play an essential role in our nation's past, present, and future. Look at this big cruise!!! This time, we didn't go the inside of this cruise. So, I can't tell you what the inside is like. Sorry. We might have to pay for getting on this.... As I like traveling, I would like to go cruising by huge cruise like this one someday |

![]() Actually, Mardi Gras of this year was Februaly 12. However, as you can see from a picture above, visitors imitated Mardi Gras as if there were Mardi Gras everyday. They got drunk, bought a lot of beads, and suddenly took their clothes off!! So, in New Orleans, everyday is Mardi Gras. I think it is good, because people who missed Mardi Gras can experience the atomosphere even though it is not real one. Anyway, we had really good time in New Orleans!! I have to go there again. And you too!! |
Mardi Gras is a traditional holiday celebrated in many of the southern states of the USA. The most famous celebration takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The people there enjoy this celebration by going to parades where they catch "beads, doubloons, cups, and trinkets" that are all thrown from floats.
