Are you a smoker?

If you are a smoker, you need to take double amounts of vitamin C. Smoking decreases the absorption rate of vitamin C. Also smoking increases the decomposition of vitamin C and also reduces the amount of time the body has to absorb it. Smoking itself is extremely harmful to your body, but if you do smoke at least you should consume double the amount of vitamin C.
