Anago is a cooked conger with original sauce called Tsume.
This anago is very nice since this restaurant's name has been named after anago.
The other sushi is also good.
You will pay around 15,000yen with some drinks.
The entrance is faced on Sotobori Dori.

This restaurant is a purveyor to the Imperial Household and is famous for its Kamigata Chakin-zushi (sushi wrapped in an egg layer in Kyoto and its neighborhood).
You can't eat inside and only packages to take away are available.
I have never bought here by myself, but one of my neighbors who is working here gives me once a year.
Both Chakin and Chimaki (a cake wrapped in bamboo leaves) are very beautiful and tasty.
The price is a bit higher, you will pay 5,000yen to 8,000yen for one package.

The appearance and interior decoration of this restaurant looks like a French restaurant's. It has a seating capacity of around 20 people, and there is an annex near which is Japanese traditional style. A few English speaking guests are often here. Uni (a sea urchin eggs) and Ikura (salmon roe) are very good, and they does not smell fishy at all. The cooked egg and Japanese green tea might fall short of your expectations. The price range for lunch is 1,400yen to 3,500yen. And dinner is around 10,000yen without alcohol. Lunch includes a glass of wine, a small appetizer, a cup of Chawan-mushi (a savory steamed egg custard with assorted ingredients), some Tsuke-mono (pickled vegetables) and a dessert.

This is the head store of Miyako.
Miyako zushi is one of the most traditional sushi restaurants in Japan.
You can taste a real Edomae sushi and you can enjoy a genuine and splendid atmosphere of Japanese traditional style here.
The master of Miyako is very conscientious in his work.
Anago, Kohada (a medium-sized gizzard shad) and Saba (a mackerel) are recommended.
You must pay around 8,000yen with some drinks.

This restaurant is located on the basement of the big and famous computer super store building.
It may be out of place.
But sushi is very good and you can enjoy a conversation with the master if you can speak Japanese.
Saba is recommended, so you should better try out this one once.
It is cooked with vinegar very well and does not smell fishy, it looks as if it is raw.
Also you can ask Oshizushi (Sushi pressed in a aquare mold in Kansai fashion).
You will pay around 10,000yen for dinner with some drinks.

To be honest, I should say this restaurant is a kind of Japanese bar-style restaurant rather than a sushi restaurant.
This is famous for its many sorts of Kobachi Ryori (cooking on a small plate) and I believe they are very delicious.
And you can taste many sorts of Japanese Sake.
When sushi arrive after Kobachi Ryori, you might not be hungry.

The previous master of this restaurant is very famous as a model of NHK drama program that was released around 15 years ago.
Unfortunately the current master still depends on that fame.
Sushi is not bad but no good. The master is always busy looking after his regular guests.
However you must pay 15,000yen for dinner or 4,000yen for lunch.

This is the Akasaka branch of Unomaru zushi Nihombashi, and is a cozy little restaurant.
The master is through in his preparation work for sushi.
Anago and Saba are recommended.
The capacity is for around 16 people.
You will pay around 10,000yen for dinner with some drinks, and 850yen to 2,500yen for lunch.
I could taste Kimme-Dai (a kind of sea bream) that happened to be arrived and it was fantastic.
