In the university student's life, I have many opportunities to meet various kinds of people. And I realize intelligence people looks so nice. Intelligence shows on people's face. I really hope I want to be like them. Today, I talk about how to be intelligent.
Here's a question to you. How do you think about Prime Minister Koizumi's revolution plan? Is it good or bad? And another question, what do you think about United State's action to Afghanistan? How many people can answer to these questions? I guess most of university student can't answer to them with confidents, because we rarely think about this kind of problems even if it is very important thing for our country.
To become intelligence, we need to think deeply. And, to think deeply, we need to get knowledge. Without knowledge, our thinking tends to be sufficiently.
Then, how can we get the knowledge? As you know, there are many kinds of media to get knowledge, like TV, newspaper and radio. But wait! People tend to completely agree to what is said in the newspaper and believe it is true. Sometimes it is true, but sometimes it is not true. I was reading Asahi Newspaper, but in these days, I started to read also Yomiuri Newspaper because my father started to get it for beer coupon tickets. Anyway, this is very good thing for me. I can read various kinds of article about same thing and compare what they're saying on it. Even if it is about same thing, each of their idea is not same. Like this, reading some newspapers give you not only knowledge and also many ways of thinking and critical thinking. If you have knowledge and start to think more deeply, you and be intelligence more.
Knowledge is power. Intelligence makes you look good.
