Bagdad caffe

I'm very glad to find a marvelous movie again and very happy to know there are a lot of great movies in the world.
I found it in video shop. Although I choose movie reading summary, my intuition was right this time. How many times I had wrong ones!
As the summary said it's music was great and famous.
It was nice actually, slow and in a husky woman's voice.
The movie has begun with a scene of two middle age couple in a desert.
In dry and sand-laden yellow wind they argued bitterly and finally she left the car with only a suitcase.
The woman began to walk on sandy road with high-heeled shoes not turning back just once.
Her back told us she'd never return to him.
After a while, a car was going to pass her side and stopped."Take a ride?" a man asked "No, thank you."she answered.She noticed there was her pot on the bed of the truck which she left in a car. 2001年09月29日 13時21分10秒

ウイリアム　ハートがいい味だしています。町の一角、交差点の角にある煙草屋。そこにたばこ好きがあつまります。その常連の１人、ポール　ベンジャミン（ハート）　煙草屋の主人ホーギーは彼が小説家で、銀行強盗に妻を殺され、その痛手から立ち直れないでいることをしっています。偶然から、ほーギーの趣味が写真を撮る事と知ります。アルバムに貼られた数千枚の写真はどれもほとんど同じ物。彼が毎日、同じ時間に交差点の反対側から店を入れて、同じアングルで撮っているのです。行き交う人々。なにげない一瞬。”みんな同じだね”ポールは言います。”ちがうよ。一枚一枚全部ちがうよ。春、夏、秋、冬、一枚として同じ写真はないよ。ゆっくり見てごらん”ホーギーはいいます。ゆっくり見始めるポール。その中の一枚。自分の妻の写真を見つけ、ポールはいいます。”僕のいとしい人だ！”そこには温かく美しい死んだ妻が写っています。泣き崩れるポール。　　ぼんやり交差点を渡ろうとして車に惹かれそうになったポールを助けた少年。一見して、貧しそうな少年にポールは”よかったら２～３日僕の所に泊ってもいいよ。とさそいます。いろいろな出来事が始まります。少年の蒸発した父親。ホーギーの元の恋人。これらの人々が、人生の暖かい布を織っていきます。私の知らないすばらしい映画はまだまだある、そう実感させてくれた一品でした。ありがとう

明けましておめでとう

いよいよ２００１年に突入。今年もすてきな映画を見て笑ったり泣いたり怒ったりしょう。暮れに借りた”スモーク”これが凄く良い。近くのビデオ屋さんが２件ともつぶれ、探して行った店で見つけました。凄く品揃えが良い感じで、これからが楽しみ。　これから用があるので、つずきは又書きます。

My diary 12/18

We, Kazuko and I, had a party last night.It is called "bounenkai" in Japanease. We ate Yosenabe and drank beer and Sake. We had a fun time together. I drank a little bit too much.Kazuko and I have been friends for a long time. We had many things together.We met our middle twenties. We bouth had three children. We lived the same apartment, so we helped each other grow up children.I like her very much. She had many things I don't have. Very positive, that is what I like most.

It was very cold this morning. When I took Kolokke for a walk, we had a frost.He didn't lood cold. Dogs don't mind cold. Today I would have a lesson with Stephen. Always I rushed before going. I should start dinner earlyer.

My favorite movies

I like movies very much. I'm going to write my impressions here. " Overboard" By Golde Horn and Cart lacel It's a comedy. I like her very much.She makes me laugh and happy.I like her English,too. It's very clear. She plays a rich selfish woman. She asked to remake her draw in her ship to a carpenter,Lassel plays. He did a good job, but she was not satisfid with it. After a quarrel she threw him into the sea with his outfit. One night she rialised reft her ring on a deck,and by accident she dropped into the sea.When she was saved by a garvige ship she lost her memories. The news was on a tv. Lacel knew she was at a hospitl with no memories and her husband left her at the hospital. He had an idea useing her. He went to the hospital and set himself up as her husband and took her his house Being dobtfully,she fighted with house job and children.By and by,she was getting to love him and children, and Lacel was,too. As her mother realized her daughter's accident,she ordered to bring her immediately.Her husband found her and went to her. When she saw him her memorise has come back suddenly andknew they used her. After she was back her own life,she noticed she love Lacel and his children.And she knew her husband left her at a hospital,too. The story was going to a happy ending. Lacel saied to her "You have everything.What shall I give you?" "A little girl." she answerd.I like happy ending.The reason I see movies I want to feel happiness,not sadness. I'll write again.Bye now.

Kamikouti and an exhibition fo China

We went to Kamikouti and Tokyo.Tokoy is for an exhibition of ancient Chinese tr- easure. We went to Matumoto by train and stayed there. Next morning, we leaved for Kamikouti.after two hours train and bus ride, we found a romantic place there. The color of the river is light blue. Imagin Okinawa's sea. Just like that. Trees, colored leaves, stream, wh- ite gravels, small and calm ponds and sunlight filtering down through the trees they all together make Kamikouti fantastic. We took a pleasant walk for about 6km in a clump of trees. I don't know the reason exactly,but we could't use cars to go Kamikouti,buses and taxis only.It's for beeing tender for environment,I guess. We stayed at a hotel near Matumoto station. Matumoto is very lively city. Bt we had only one sorry point. It was we could't find Chinese restaurant easily.Is it because of to help Nihonsoba' shops? Nest morning, we leaved for Tokyo by Sh- nkansen. Around Ueno station, it is as crowded as usuall. The exhibition was nice. I saw some of them on tv, but real were greater. I've thought human never change at basis. After seeing that, I could be more sure about that. I was im- pressed very some of them.There is no difference between nowadays art and anc- ient one. Any period has great artists. Next morning we got on our way to home. It was a fantastis trip. Searching my conscience 1- to have a watch 2- to buy bags 3- to notice it takes about 2hours to Sinoosaka station

Gojou reisenki

I saw a fantastic Japanese movie. It's title is "Gojou reisenki" I don't see Japanese movies very often. Because many times I was disappointed. This time I and Masao went to there with doubt. But to our delight,it's a hit. Once upon a time, there is a rumor Oni come and eat dead bodies of criminals. Benkei decided to exterminate them. Once he was very bad killed people cooly even women and children.But when he knew he killed his own son,he changed. He became a Buddist priest. He had a kind of power of spirit after hard training. He believed it's his mission to exterminate them.Oni's true character is Yositune. He is going to avenge his father's death and make h- imself a Tennou. At last, they fought on Gojou bridge. It was hard and long.The wind began to blow hard and thunders and lights were getting harder because of their stong spirit.When Yositune stabed Benkei's chest with a sord, Benkei hol- ded Yositune with an arm titely, and raised his another arm holding a sord straight and high to heavenward. Sudden- ly a huge lightning struck on the sord and went through their bodies. After bu- rning everything, there is a new Tenno- u's smiling a substitute of Yositune. It's a great entertainment. I wish I co- uld have next Japanease one.

京都に行ってきました。

８，９日と、京都に行ってきました。大原の寂光院、三千院。寂光院は放火で焼失。なんという事でしょう。美しい物を保存する事は大切な事だ、とは思っていました。でも見たくても、見れない今、それの大切さを、痛切に感じます。苔むした石畳のなだらかな階段、さぞかしお寺もと、残念でなりません。その後大好きな、知恩院へ。ざんざぶりの雨の中、あの馬鹿でかい、本堂と門が相変わらず、どでーんと迎えてくれました。
