Japanese Food
Japanese food is overall very healthy and good. The taste is based on soy source mainly.
Rice and miso-soup are necessary for everyday dinner.
Tea
We drink tea most of the time. Wheat tea, green tea, black tea, Oolong tea...there are so many variations,
and we drink them without sugar except black tea. That's why we are not fat people. We hardly drink soda
when we eat meal, we drink tea or water instead.
Sake
Sake is made of rice. It tastes like white wine and very good. We usually drink it cold, sometimes hot in winter time,
but usually good sake comes cold. It serves with smaller cups like a tequila glass. You say "Kampai!!"
for cheers.
Rice
It's so wrong if you put salt or soy-source on rice. Rice should be plain except Maze-gohan or Fried rice.
Rice is our staple food, and you eat it one another time you eat main dish.
