It is the island of Japan. In America Japanese food is so expensive. Especially sushi.
Sushi has special fishes. So they are expensive. Will explain about Japanese food.
In Japanese restaurants, green tea is free just like water. Green tea has many flavors. It comes in Bancha, Matcha, Sencha, and Gyokuro. Bancha is a very thick tea, and its leaves are cheep. Matcha was the first tea brought from China. Matcha is a powdered tea. It is smooth and easy to drink. Matcha looks good but its taste is bitter. It contain vitamin C. 80% of all green tea consumed by Japanese is Sencha tea. It is a high grade of tea that is made by steaming the leaves to stop fermentation. The steaming helps to also reduce the bitter flavor of the tea. The leaves are then crushed and dried, and packaged for sale. The highest level of tea is Gyokuro because it has a sweet taste and it has a very strong smell. Drink Gyokuro with good food, or by itself.
Five thousand years ago, chopstick came from China and brought to Japan. A man named Confucius who lived in 551 to 419 B.C. invented chopstick.. Chopsticks are made by lacquered wood and covered with artwork. Some chopsticks are elegant because they might be made of gold or embossed in silver. Some artist combines various hardwoods and metal to create distinctive designs. Children¡Çs chopsticks are made from plastic and might have picture of cartoon characters.Children chopsticks are lightweight and easy to clean.
Sushi has a thousand years history tradition and sushi is usually a Japanese food. When people see sushi in foreign countries, they know it¡Çs Japanese food. Sushi was a way of preserving fish a long time ago. It was pressed between rice and salt by heavy stone for few months and then it could eat it. By the18th century chef Yohei changed sushi by using vinegar, rice and raw fish and then eating it.
Soba and Udon are two kinds of noodles in Japan. People can eat cold or hot noodle. Different places eat different kinds of noodles. China brought noodles to Japan in 10,000 B.C. Soba is made from buckwheat flour. Buckwheat is healthy grain. The Grain is white, but if the skin used it is grayish. Udon came from China to Japan around 710A.D. Sometimes Udon is thick and the hardness varies from place to place. Udon has many different styles. To make the noodles, mix flour, lightly salt, add water knead, stretch, and then cut the dough.
Japanese food is not like junk food. Japanese food is especially use fish and vegetable. So these are healthy.
