Iyeyasu's grandfather, Matsudaira Kiyoyasu, who unified the whole Mikawa Province, built this tower. It is a two-story pagoda and consists of two different structures. One is a square-shaped and the other is a circle-shaped. This tower is one of the most beautiful pagodas in the Tokai district. Although about 450 years have passed since it was built, it still shows a graceful form.Taho Tower is designated as national important cultural property.
