Dr S, whose name is H. SAITO, was born in Saitama, Japan. After finishing the secondary education, he studied metallurgy at Waseda University in Japan. He developed a corrosion-resistant alloy for chemical reactors. With this work, he got his bachelor degree of engineering and high school teacher qualification of science. He also obtained the bachelor degree of law from Toyo University in Japan. He was specialised in criminal policy given a lead by Prof. Takahashi of Waseda University.

He studied materials science at graduate school of Waseda University. He electrochemically analysed corroded zinc-aluminium alloy coated steel and obtained his master degree. While he was a graduate student, he worked as a part-time teacher of science.

Then, he joined a telecommunication company. He became a member of a laboratory in Musashino, Tokyo and he was in charge of developing new materials for telecommunication outside equipment. He worked as an engineer at the laboratory. After passing the examination of polimer science,
surface thermodynamics, surface engineering and English, he earned his doctor degree of engineering from Waseda University under the guidance of Prof. Nakae of materials laboratories, Prof. Homma of dept. of applied chemistry, Prof. Ito of dept. of materials science and Prof. Oishi of dept. of information engineering with his work of developing a new water-repellent polymer coating having extremely high contact angle of water. Prof. Yamauchi of the University of Utah, USA and Honoured Prof. Nakai of Waseda University are advisers of his doctor thesis.

Now, he is a web designer. He is mainly developing a search robot program.
He likes solving chess problems, not only international ones but also Japanese ones.
