Feb. 29th, 2004 　 leap year Every time when Feb. 29th comes I remember colleague of junior high school. He was born on Feb. 29th, 1976. Although he already has a child, today, he may see his 7th birthday.

Feb. 28th, 2004 　 bird influenza Eggs from Kyoto firm where bird influenza had spread had been arrived one of the food industry of Niigata. But they had not used them yet. It was reported that the bird influenza broke out about one week ago at the Kyoto firm. So, is it usual that eggs are not be used more than one week after borne? I found that the foods which are made by eggs do not use fresh eggs.

Feb. 27th, 2004 　 how to ride bicycle The factory is so large that we use bicycle for move around there. Feb. 24th, 2004 　 business trip continues I am still In Ibaraki pref. I visited somewhere at spare time. Kamisu town. Recently this town bacomes famous y polluted well water. Kashima city. I know it first time. "鹿島" is wrong and "鹿嶋" is correct. And I found attractive information about Ibaraki pref. So, I decided that I would go around Ibaraki pref. by motorcycle at GW. Feb. 23rd, 2004 　 Hasaki town I came to Hasaki town, Ibaraki pref. by business trip. I heard that it was a windy place. It is not exaggeratiton that here comes typhhon everyday.

Feb. 22nd, 2004 　 STEP 2nd examination The 2nd examination is not so difficult, I feel. This sentence drives me into the corner. The most shocking thing was not about examination, but the next examinee's birth date which was written on the, paper. "Showa 60" Oh, no! After the exam, when I drove back to the dormitory, I found the motorcycle under 50cc which was rare to see in this town. I found the word on the number plate. "Natori city" Who was that? Talking of number plate, Sendai citizen want "Sendai" number plate. If Sendai number plate were fulfilled, what names were given to the north of Sendai area and South of Sendai area? The number plates name of these areas which are divided by Sendai would not be same, I think. After all, it is no concern to me.

Feb. 21st, 2004 　 She made a mistake which was committed through ignorance At the practice of archery, I was told by one person. "We will go sxiing tomorrow. Why don't you join us?" What an exciting girl you are! So, I will go sxiing...no! I will have an 2nd examination of STEP 2nd grade.

Feb. 19th, 2004 　 worry 2004 world F1 GP will open soon. All drivers are settled and test drive is in its final stage. There is one worry. In 1998, Ferrari kept their new machine secret and do not run with other teams at test season. When the season had begun, Mclaren had run fastest. Ferrari's confidence collapsed. After this year, Ferrari did off season test with other teams. But, this year, Ferrari do only private test again. Williams, Renault and BAR show good performance during that. I worry the opening game. I worry! And I aware that the opening day is the day after OB-OG meeting of archery club of Tohoku Univ., so I will not watch the race on live even though I enter skyprfecTV.

Feb. 17th, 2004 　 ultra seven There are 2 reasons to join a sky perfecTV. For F1 live and music program. Although I don't watch other channels, I found one TV CM at one channel. "We will start broadcasting ultra seven." I was moved to tears. Needless to say, this program has a reputation which was too mature program for kids. What is a mature is explained wherever on a lot of fan sights. It is worth joining to skyperfecTV.

Feb. 16th, 2004 　 motor sport It was a English conversation training day. Today's theme was "Your favorite athlete". It was natural to select him. Michael Schumacher. But teacher said to me. Feb. 15th, 2004 　 only one ringing Sometimes only one ringing call comes to my cellar phone. I had waited a chance and I succeeded today. It was "answer to the one ringing call". Feb. 14th, 2004 　 It's a long shot I started playing archery 10 years ago. I have experienced 4 times to shot arrow by arrow. One of them was during the game. And today. I shot an arrow which shot another arrow by arrow. The arrow became 3m long. The number of the rest of my arrows is less than 9. It is likely that the day when I must change arrows from aluminum to carbon at all round will come soon.

Feb. 13th, 2004 　 Patent Patents are essential for the industry. To keep an eye out for other companies' patent is also indispensable. So, we must run our eyes over new patent. Sometimes I happen to meet curious patents. I met one such a patent today. JP2003-306435 「きさなぎの養虫でガンの病が直ると感がえられる事」 I felt something was wrong when I read this title. Yes, he used a wrong Chinese character. And he also used a wrong word in the claim sentence. What makes him to apply this patent? And what makes the Patent Office to accept this patent? Feb. 12th, 2004 　 the consolidation of smaller municipalities Recently the consolidation of smaller municipalities is the greatest concern in the countryside. Although my town once said that we would not do that and make originality for future, they agreed that my town and next village would immediately begin consultations on the matter. If it accomplished, our town become city. But there would not be significant change, I think. Talking of consolidation, when Sendai city failed to annex Natori city, which has an air port, the rumor that Sendai city aimed Yamagata city, which has port for Sea of Japan, for the next target was said plausibly. By the way, I know such an acquaintance who lives in Yamagata pref. It is not dream to annex Yamagata city for Sendai city!

Feb. 11th, 2004 　 exercise Since I entered in this company, I can not go laboratory by bicycle but by walk. So, my quantity of exercise become decreasing. For getting quantity, I do exercise at weekend and holiday. The body can not rest owing to these exercises. I also would go exercise today by getting up at 6, but I was fed up with the condition of my car. It was caught by ice which caused freezing water hall made up with melting snow. It took 30 minutes for rescue my car. It gave me much exercise. Afterward, I went exercising with colleagues before noon, and I went playing archery afternoon. My holiday discharge custom will not be cured.

Feb. 10th, 2004 　 a half year was passed I realized that a half year was passed since I began to regular work. Tempus fugit ! And the number of the experiments exceeded 100 before I knew. The pace was much faster than student time. Though I didn't do it on weekend. Though I had 6 consecutive holidays at summer and 11 consecutive holidays at year end. But the most important thing is not quantity, but quality.

Feb. 9th, 2004 　 pass the 1st stage The result of 1st stage STEP 2nd grade examination was sent by E-mail. I pased it! Now, please tell me the method for 2nd stage. The 2nd stage examination will be held at Feb. 22nd. I will be back to Sendai the day before this examination for attending wedding party of my quittance. Is it possible to pass examination for me who will do such a thing?

Feb. 8th, 2004 　 heating was fully equipped It was a competition of archery today. The palace where the competition was held has a heating equipment as well as Towa junior high school. But, the highest temperature of Niigata was 3 degree today. The space didn't become hot before he end of the game. It was too late to be hot during the practice time after the game. If I don't participate 360 shoots competition, this game is the last indoor game this season. If I entered to the all Japan archery federation, I could join all Japan indoor archery competition. When I knew the place where this competition would be held, I regretted too mach. Shizuoka pref. Hamamatsu city. How stupid of me!

Feb. 7th, 2004 　 washing I do washing about twice a week. Recently, I lost socks every time. I lost the pair of one sock too. I have 5 socks which lost their pair. Where do they go? I make sure to put them in laundry machine.

Feb. 6th, 2004 　 good aspect of this town Recently, the time of raining was more than snowing, but new snow lay about 10cm this morning. In this town, the times of laying snow too deep is more than Sendai. And we can find the better aspect of this town than Sendai. This town has, snowplows for a pavement. It is a small thing but we have no time to walk hard by snow and ice.

Feb. 5th, 2004 　 R&D meeting The R&D meeting was held from morning to night, not evening. The main subject was to map out our course for 2004, so it became too long. Although I only heard that bosses discussion, only stay and hear was as hard as to discuss. After the meeting, I was exhausted. So I intended to go back to dormitory as soon as possible. But just at that time boss said to me. "I would like you to do three themes which were decided to do today." Three themes!?

Feb. 4th, 2004 　 day of a ban on overtime work Wednesday is a day of a ban on overtime work. If I do overtime work, members of the general affairs department come and say "go home as soon as possible". I received such a notice today, and I always feel. Isn't this patrol overtime work, is it?

Feb. 3rd, 2004 　 victory Today is the day before the calendrical beginning of spring. Killing ogre day. ( not true) Today is the day of weekly report meeting. Bastard boss day. (true) I thrust data which proof the result that he denied at all last week. I felt good. Considering the time of student, I did almost same thing again and again to professor and assistant professor. When I was told that "impossible" or "Don't tell a lie", I became enthusiastic all of a sudden for putting them down. But I heard from assistant professor after I graduated, he did so on purpose. Because he understood such a character. I was clean taken in. Does boss of mine also!?

Feb. 2nd, 2004 　 power plant The company invite foreign teacher and provide us English speaking lesson by free every Monday. Although it is thankful, it is hard for me to do it at the start of the week. Because I have a weekly report meeting every Tuesday, so Monday is the busy day for preparing for it. I know I shouldn't reasonably ask wish for more. At Today's lesson the teacher said to us about power plant. "Why does Japan make electrical power mostly by using thermal power station? Why don't you use nuclear power station?" He is a Canadian. It is hard to understand for Canadian to make a thermal power plant instead of a nuclear power plant. It took us 1 hour to explain the reason. Is this lesson surely useful?

Feb. 1st, 2004 　 recall When I cleaned my room, I found one letter between books. "recall announcement" I remembered that my car was recalled for safety reason. The announcement was done at the end of the last year. I called to the dealer at once but the answer was "The reservation was filled with recalled car for 3 weeks." Although the recall was announced so far ago, why was the reservation still full?
