MY FIRST CHRISTMAS
My name is scout, I'm a yellow labrador. I was born January and was adopted by the Funks in March. They have two little girls, and I love them very much.
Angela really likes me, because she plays with me a lot and when its raining outsite she'll hold the umbrella for me while I'm eating so I don't get wet! But I don't understand why she keeps loosing her teeth! She doesn't have any front teeth, and she says she can't wait to wear braces because she likes the sparkle.
Leslie doesn't pet me or come close to me, but she is always smiling at me from the other side of the window. Whenever she cries, I feel sad and howl to show my support. When you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, she used to say a "mommy", but recently she says she wants to be a cashier in a store. Sometimes she says she wants to be a Doctor, but I think Daddy is putting this in her head.
By the way, Keiko also used to not come close to me when I first came to the house. I thought Daniel was my master, because he teaches me things and orders me around. He signed me up for obedience classes, but I think Keiko is my REAL master, because most of the time she's the one who takes me for walks and feeds me. I don't know why Keiko keeps the poster which says "Lost DOG! $500 Reward!" with the picture of yellow lab that looks like me. I hope they are not thinking about giving me away, even after I dug those holes in the yard and chewed the Christmas Tree ornaments. Because I'm a member of the Funk Family now!
