There are almost 85 Full-and Part-time faculty and administrators in this school.More than half faculties are American(60%) and rest of the 40% are the Japanese. Since it is essential to provide appropriate advice to adolescents, especially those living away from their parents for the first time, counseling from a cross-cultural perspective is offered. The goal of counseling is to promote the students' emotional and social well-being while they are enrolled at Keio Academy as well as to assist them with their academic progress.

Grades and Terms

Keio Academy is a four-year co-educational secondary school comprised of grades 9-12 with 420 students in total. The 10th-12th grades, composed of 120 students in each grade, are divided into four classes, K,E,I,O. The 9th grade, composed of 60 students, is divided into two classes: K and E. Each academic year consists of two semesters beginning in September and ending in June.

Tutoring

Tutorial classes, ESL (English as a Second Language) and JSL (Japanese as a Second Language) only, are provided for an individual student's linguistic ability, if clearly necessary. Through tutoring, students can study more effectively and gain knowledge.
