はじめに

平成1５年度がスタートしました。今年度も長野英語クラブ連盟の活動をさらに充実したものにできますよう、今までと同様に多くの先生方や生徒のみなさんのご協力とご参加をよろしくお願いいたします。本年度事務局は伊那北高校が担当することになりました。至らぬ点が多々あるかと思いますが、ご支援ご鞭撻のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

3) 本年度ディベートコンテストの論題について : On the topic of this year’s debate

昨年度より価値ディベートが導入されました。

話題が価値ディベートに限定するわけではありませんが，昨年度の生徒の参加，活動状況から判断し，引き続き身近な話題にし，トピックは一つにする方向で検討中です。

今後は、ディベート担当の赤井先生（上田染谷丘高校）を中心にすすめていくことになります。ご意見要望，トピックに関するアイデア等がありましたらおよせください。

“Value debate” was introduced last year.  Students participated in the debate actively and seemed to enjoy it.  We are thinking of adopting the similar topic.

If you have any opinions, ideas, suggestions, please contact Ms. Akai, who is in charge of the Debate contest.

4) キャンプ、ディベート等担当について

例年通り、役員をキャンプ担当とディベート担当に割り振ります。現時点で中心になっていただく先生が決まっていますのでご紹介いたします。

第８回　長野県高校生英語キャンプ

実施要項

１．主　催　Nagano English Club League （長野県高等学校文化連盟英語専門部）

２．期　日　５月３１日（土）〜６月１9日（日）

３．場　所

４．集合時刻　    12:00 チェックイン(Check in)

1日目の昼食はでません。お弁当を持ってきてください。到着後食べることができます。(No lunch on the first day.  Please bring your lunch.)

５．解散時刻　9日（日）の午後1：00ごろを予定しています。

                            Break up at 1:00 in the afternoon.

８．参加費用　8,500円（一泊3食 7,500円（２日目の昼食を含む）、教材費、講師謝礼、雑費）

           費用はすべて郵便局の振込みでお願いします。当日キャンセルなども予想されますので、振込みは下記の口座に英語キャンプ終了後1週間以内にお願いします。

Participation fee \8,500(three meals and expenses for the camp)

（振り込んでいただく費用はJTE、ALT、参加生徒全員の費用です。）

９．参加申し込み

同封したFAX用紙で参加人数、参加予定者名・性別・学年、引率顧問・ALT名、を記入の上、5月21日（水）までに、事務局まで送付してください。

その際、参加校は原則としてALTの参加もお願いします。ALTを十分に確保できないと、キャンプの運営に支障をきたしてしまいます。ぜひお願いします。ALTの参加を確認した上で、ALTの参加欄に出欠と氏名の記入を忘れずにお願いします。また、キャンプ当日はALTも学校出張で来ていただきます。（派遣依頼は今月下旬に送付予定です。学校出張が難しい場合は事務局までご連絡ください。）

ENGLISH CAMP IS QUICKLY APPROACHING!!

You are officially invited to the 8^th annual NECL English Camp from Saturday, May 31^st to Sunday, June 1^st in Karuizawa!  This year’s camp will be held at the Sengataki Onsen Hotel. 

A weekend full of English-speaking, fun and learning has been planned.  Activities include:  Travel commercials to English-speaking countries, dancing, singing, tie-dyeing, cultural sharing and much, much more! 

The emphasis of this year’s camp will be on improving the students’ confidence to speak English through fun, manageable, low-pressure activities in relaxed environments.
