Boring.... The first month of the Y2K has passed..... What' up, guys?

By the way, did you watch any good movies recently? How about Shoko? OK.

A comfortable aftereffect of " Magnolia" is" killing me softly".....Did you see that?

"Magnolia" is one of the brand-new style movies called

"New-new wave" by critics nowadays. Although I don't think all the filmmakers

switch their way to new direction, it will influence on the world of film a lot, I think.

They create movies that have never existed before, but make us excited such.

You know, most of directors who made movies which surprised us a lot these days

are around age of 30! Jesus! We have to hurry up! No, let's keep our pace...

In someone's opinion, he said it might be difficult to enjoy it for the people

Over age of 40's or more. Because the "brand new style brain" was developed on the

bases of their childhood surrounded by high-technology toys like computer games,

or music, which was definitely different from theirs. Some of them learned techniques

to make movies by themselves, without going to film schools. You know what?

One of the directors says, " Film schools are swindler!".... Oh my god...

How do you think about these kind of movies? Or do you find out or feel any

differences compared to before? Me? Of cause, I like it! Go a head!

Give me more aftereffects! But I still love movies go the "main stream".

Did you watch "Man on the moon"? I LOVED the idea in the beginning of the movie.

How about lovely movie" Sweet and lowdown" by Woody Allen?

And I saw "Big Daddy" in Video. I like Adam Sandler. I love heart-warming comedies,

like movies of Chris Columbus. And other favorites are Back to the future,

Indiana Johns, and Wong kar-wai movies. I can't change my mind forever!

Nothing special has happened to me. But I've got a news that makes me happy a lot.

Do you know a movie" After Life" (By Hirokazu Koreeda 1999 Japan)?

This is one of my Favorite movies I saw in 1999. I'm sure you'll like this movie.

Hey I'm talking to you, Jan, Carl, Emil, Wonsuk-shi, and Malcolm! In this January,

Video was released in NY. And the film was already played or will be played in

some other countries, the best of my knowledge, in USA, Switzerland.,

France, Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Austria, UK, Sweden and Korea! Surprised?

"After life" has gained prizes in several film festivals.

And the point is this!! So many productions rushed to it, but finally,

the right to remake it was gained by 20century fox! Hallelujah! (Say it like Beatriz )

We may be able to see it in Hollywood version. I want Matt Damon or Takeshi Kaneshiro

to play the man who was played by ARATA ( An actor in Japan, International model)!

And use actors from all over the world to keep balance of "dreamy and likely".

I hope they will make it good, without breaking the beauty of original story.
