I took a free lesson at Irena's house today from 10 to 12:30. There were more students than I had expected.
Yoichi was playing outside at home while I was out. Having lunch at home, we went out for a cycling with them.
We took a bus to the teacher's house in Oak Bay. Although I was nervous to get on the bus with two bicycles at the first time,
the bus driver was so kind to help me hang up two bicycles on the rack of the front of the bus, and said,
"how far are you goin' to?" But actually my destination was not so far that I could get there within only 10 minutes ride.
So I replied hesitatingly, "just to the Oak Bay rec-renter."
After getting there where they were supposed to meet up with, we left for the direction of the Beacon Hill Park
which is really near downtown. I and Yoichi had walked around there yesterday. I was a little bit worrying about Yoichi,
but I was thinking that if he wanted to give up, we could choose the bus home. But unbelievably, Yoichi pulled off the 3 hours cycling throughout
until we could get home! It was amazing because it means that he could ride whole way to downtown to where it usually take us
30 minutes by bus-ride. When we arrived at the ocean, we could find some kites and people sitting in the air with paragliders,
which was a fantastic view! We stopped by a famous beachside cafe to take a rest for 30 minutes or so.
Yoichi was so enjoying cycling that he turned down Irena's offer to give us a lift from her house to my home.
He chose to keep riding home after we split in front of Irena's house. It was a long ride that I had ever had in Victoria!
