Eva Lukacova is her name, who was awarded
a prize for her poems. She has been famous in the world of Slovakian literature
since 12 years old. But this 'Divosestra' is her first book. Now she is
a student of Japanese Government scholarship, living in Osaka, Japan and
studying at Osaka University.
She has a son of 12 years old, Roman. On her left in the picture Miro, her husband sits. I met her last October. In spite that we are from different countries, of different mother tongue, different appearance, etc...., we have a quite similar way of thinking in common. It's great to find out such a friend with whom I can share ideas. |
| Tereka, my landlady, is Miro's mother, who
is 73 years old. She reminded me of my own mother in many ways. I stayed
at her flat for 30 days. And all the time I was her daughter, called 'Zuzuka'(Zuzu-chan
jut like a little girl) Now I miss her a lot.
Miro is very kind to every one. He helped me a lot in Slovakia where most people don't speak English. Roman looks still a child in this picture but actually he is in the process of getting older and his way of thinking interested me a lot. |

I met a lot of people at ceremonies. The problem is English is not common language there. But we managed to communicate each other with some English words and a few Slovak words. |
| Of course Japanese language is not popular but there exist some classes of Japanese in Slovakia. This is one of them. They started Japanese some months ago. Look at the girls there. Most of the young girls in Slovakia are very beautiful but guys are not except a few. | ![]() |
