さあ！前期試験も無事乗り切り、スウェーデンはルンド大学のサマープログラムへ出発です。
ルンドは、南スウェーデン随一の大学都市。
スウェーデン第２の都市マルモ（ＭＡＬＭＯ）から電車で１０分。






ルンドはちょうどスカンジナビア半島の下唇の部分に位置しています。
アクセスは、お隣デンマークの首都コペンハーゲン・カストラップ空港から
電車で海を渡って４０分くらい。

１ヶ月弱のルンド滞在がはじまります。

飛行機にひとりで乗るのは今回が初めて。 雲海がとても綺麗。 ロシアの大地の上をぐんぐん飛んでいくアエロフロート。 トランジットがうまくいかず、モスクワ一泊。 モスクワは７月でも寒かった！

朝イチの飛行機でコペンハーゲン入り。 ここに１日滞在します。 ブラックダイヤモンドと呼ばれる中央図書館の近くに宿をとりました。 チボリ前のツーリストインフォメーションで予約し、 スーツケースを２０分ほど転がす。 いい天気だー 荷物を置いて街歩き。 スタンドでソーセージを買い芝生で食す。 ソーセージスタンドは街のどこにでもあります。 日本のおにぎり、アメリカのハンバーガーのノリか。 細長いパンが必ずついてくる。 　　　 「earth from the sky」写真展がコペンハーゲンに来ていました。 前年渋谷bunkamuraで見たばかりなので なんて偶然！ 写真展を屋外でやってしまうのが、日本とは異なるところ。 この後、観光ボートで街を一周したり、海までカヤックしたり、チボリ公園を散策したり。 チボリ公園はほんとうに素敵だった！ 私の照明熱はおそらくここが原点です。

走り去るソーセージスタンド！ 　　　　　 コペンハーゲンは運河の街。 そして「らせん」の街でもあります。 クロコダイルが３匹らせん状にからまったデザインの屋根。 謎のポスターなんじゃこりゃ。 ********** この後、電車で海を渡ってマルモ（Mamo）に行き、 そこでエリザベスという大学職員に連絡をとり、無事ルンド到着！ 既に残りの学生も来ていて、 これから３週間滞在するゲストハウスにたどり着きました。

Today is my second day in Lund.I've met so many people and they've given us a warm welcome. They held the welcome ceremony at the City Council. We wore the traditional Japanese costume called the'Kimono' or the'Yukata' for the party. Wearing them is unusual in Japan,so we needed some practice. I was able to be relaxed at the party because people we met there were very kind,polite and speak to us so frankly. I think ｉｔ was a wonderful begining to our stay in Lund. サマープログラム参加者は全部で５人。 少なっ。 スウェーデンに語学研修に行ったと言うと、必ず、「何語をやったの？」と 聞かれるけど、英語です。 英語の先生は、ロニーというブルーアイズのオランダ人。 体型だけみると背がちょっと低くて、甘いものが好きそうで、口ひげを生やしています。 サンタクロースみたい。 でもなにより、 ロニーの瞳は青く澄んでいて、すいこまれそう。 湖みたいなんだ。 ロニー曰く、天気によっても色が変わるんだって。 ロニーのほかにも、エリザベスと、ブーという大柄な男性職員がいる。 ブーはBoと書くのだけど、スウェ語でBoは、生きる、という意味なんだって。 そのあとみんなで滞在中つかう自転車を借りに行って、 （ブレーキは足でする！か、カルチャーショック！） ゲストハウスに戻って、ゆかたの着付けをする。 このために家で練習してきたんだ。 今回思ったのは、ゆかたってほんっと持ち運び便利だねー。 ぺたんこになるし、帯だってくるくる巻いてしまえばとてもスリム。 昔の人って賢いね。 みんなで浴衣や着物に着替えて、（男のコは甚平！） シティホールでのレセプションに参加します。 市長さん？（忘れちゃった…なんか多分偉い人だった。）だとか、 ルンド大学で日本語を勉強している学生さんや先生なんかと立食形式。 シティホールは街の中心にあって、 行き帰りにバスに乗ると、嫌でも目立ちます。 ここでの数週間がはじまりました。

Today we threw a birthday party for Chisa after our classes. We prepared the meal in the guest house and invited Elisabeth Caroline and Thomas,who is studying Japanese in Lund. We devoted almost all our energy to cooking the meal. We made Sushi,Miso soup and Nikujaga(boiled vegetables and meat eapecially potatos and beef with soya souce and sugar) and baked the birthday cake. The dishes we prepared tasted much better than we expected. We enjoyed the meal and sang "Happy Birthday"in Japanese and Swedish. We put nineteen candles on the cake and Chisa blew them out. We had a very happy time. We stayed up late.I don't think I have enough time to sleep tonight. ひととおりルンドの主要な建物を見てまわる。 カテドラルとか、教会とか、美術館とか。 私のゴシック好きはここから始まったのかも。 ヨーロッパでは、どんな小さな街にも、街の中心にカテドラル（大聖堂）がある。 日本の街って、特に中心になるものってないでしょう。 だから、カテドラルのもつ、その感じがいいなと思う。 　　　　　　　　 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　photo by Yoshiyuki 　　　 　　　　 　　　　　　　　photo by Yoshiyuki この日はチサの誕生日でした。 チサはおなじ学部の２コ下の女のコ。 とても賢く、学があって、大人びていて、私は頭が下がりっぱなしです。 私たち５人が滞在するゲストハウスは、１階にスーパーが入っています。 そこでいろいろ買物して、共用のキッチンで料理して、みんなで食べる、という生活。 今思ったら、あのキッチンでの日々は素晴らしかったー 家族じゃない人が、でも一緒にいるというシチュエーションで、 家族みたいになんか落ちついて、 ゴハンの時間になるとなんとなーく集まって、 ビミョーなときもあったけど、 私最後のほうはキッチンで宿題したりしてた笑。 そのキッチンで、主に料理のうまい女子２人がいろいろ作ってくれて、 （私と男子は見る専門。＞いいのか、私。） 牛乳パック使ってケーキ焼き始めたときには、もう、 嫁に貰おうかと思ったね！ そんなこんなでゲストも集まり、来て早々日本食を食べる。

This morning we were a little bit tired because we didn't have enough time to sleep last night. Lonny took care of us and started the class with a relaxation session. I was so relaxed and nearly fell asleep.After lunch we attended a class given by Andrea Onnefars. His specialty was the history and the relations between Sweden and Germany, but today he lectured to us about the cultural encounters between Sweden and the East. His lecture was very interesting.I gained a lot of infoemation about this topic. We had a class with Bo till 7 p.m. and went back to our guest house after that. We cooked today's dinner with a lot of vegetables and garlic because Kaori had got a cold and the weather was chilly for us. 朝、私たちはヒドい顔してたらしく、ロニーが予定を変更してリラクゼーションの時間をとってくれた。 みんなで机の上寝っころがって、目をつぶって、手をあげてみたり想像したり、ロニーの言われるがまま。 最初は英語聞き間違えてへんなとこでへんなリアクションしてるかもーって思ったりしたけど、 だんだん気持ち良くなってきて、半寝…。 この日は、特に社会科見学もなく、いちにち教室で授業。 スウェーデンの夏は、１０時前くらいまで昼間みたいに明るいから、 １日が長い。 ７時なんて夜な気がしない。 １日教室のある建物から出ない時は、教室の隣のキッチンに冷凍食品を買い置きしておいて食べる。 お茶のときとかに、電子レンジを使ってるとロニーが、 「電子レンジは体に悪いアタックが！」 とかゆっていて、 言たいことは分かるんだけど、「悪いアタックが！」ってくだりがなんか可笑しくって、 私は今でも家で電子レンジ使うとき「悪いアタック！」って言ってしまうんだ。 スウェーデンは夏でも肌寒くて、 私は靴をビルケンシュトックのサンダルのみで来てしまったのだけど、 足がfreezeだね。 カオリは体調を崩してたし。

この日はスコーネ地方へエクスカーションでした。 スコーネとは南スウェーデン一帯を指す。 デンマークやドイツに最も近く、そのため属する国がコロコロ変わりがちな地方のため、 国への帰属意識より、スコーネ地方自体への帰属意識の方が強い。 「ニルスの不思議な旅」の舞台。 嘘です。 でも、ガチョウがいたよ。空飛べるかなー 　　　 イングランドのストーンヘンジに匹敵する謎の石列。 ヴァイキングが遺したという説が有力です。 ところで、ヴァイキングの話になると、急に熱っぽくなるのがスウェーデン人。 政治学のクラスで「アメリカ大陸を最初に見つけたのはヴァイキングだ！」とかゆってたしな… アメリカ大陸縄文人発見説と一緒やな笑。 ↑ ずいぶん派手なシャツを着たロニー。 もしやちょいワルオヤジの先駆?! ***************************** We went to Lund Nation after our class today. We drank some alcohol,took pictures,talked together and danced. There were many young people.I tried some Swedish vodka.It was 40 degrees.I took a sip of that and I was very surprised at how strong this drink is! At eleven o'clock they started playing records and we enjoyed dancing.I was a member of the dance team when I was a high school student,so I enjoyed dancing. We all were tired out.I fell asleep as soon as I got to my room. 夕暮れのルンド。（日付は時差でずれている） Lund Nation※は建物の最上階で行われたので、そこからの景色。 ルンドでは、どこにいてもカテドラル（大聖堂）の大きな２つの尖塔が見えます。 迷子になったら探す景色。 ※ルンド出身者が集まる交流会？みたいなもの。要は飲み会。 　マルモ出身ならMalmo Nation、ストックホルムならStockholm Nationというらしい。 ルンドネーションでは音楽かけて、みんなで踊って、ウォトカを飲む。 甚平で踊り狂う日本男児が約１名…笑。 ウォトカはむっちゃ強いお酒なんだけど、スウェ人はみんなくいくい飲んでて、 人種の違いを実感。 口つけると、クチビルがもう熱いかんね。

Tonight we went the Malmo Festival.There were a lot of people who were celebrating the featival and there were many food stands like the summer feativals in Japan.We Japanese hold that kind of featival to enjoy the cool air in the night time,because in the daytime it's very very hot and humid in Japan.I think the Malmo Festival is held for the opposite reason.They may enjoy the warm weather because they have a long cold season in winter. ↑調子に乗るユキとThomas ルンドから電車で１０分くらいのところに、マルモ（マルメ）という街があります。 北スウェーデンの中心がストックホルムとしたら、 南スウェーデンの中心はマルモ。 そのマルモで１週間ぶっ続けで行われる夏祭りが、マルモ・フェスティバルです。 マルモ祭は別名ザリガニ祭。 みんなでザリガニを食す。めでたい。 １週間くらいのあいだ、街中に屋台が出ていて、各所でいろんな催しをやっている。 この日はまずは、みんなでザリガニを食し、酔っ払い、 隣で飲んでたおじいちゃんにチーズをもらい、 期間中、また来よっと。

Today I didn't do anyting special. I got up a little bit later. I didn't have a clear plan for the day, but I decided to go shopping in Lund because I had heard that on Saturday and Sunday many stores closed at 1 p.m. I looked around Lund without a map.I didn't have any problem finding my way. I could figure out where I was by searching for the roof of the Cathedral or the towers of the old churches. I had lunch at cafe which Elisabeth recommended to me. The menu was only in Swedish but the waiter told me what I could have in a very kind way. Talking with him,I enjoyed lunch. この日ははじめての休講日。 何も予定がない。 のでルンドを自転車で探検してみた。 地図も持たずにグルグルまわる。 ついこのあいだスーツケースと共に降り立った駅や、 街外れのレンタサイクル屋、 ギリシャ料理の店、 街でいちばん大きなホテル、 シティホールと広場、 教会、 図書館、 大学のいくつかの建物、 適当にグルグル回ってると、だんだん街の全体が分かってくる。 迷子になったらカテドラルの屋根を探せばいいからこわくない。 石畳の道は、自転車をがたがた揺らすけど、その振動も心地よい。 （ルンドの中心部はほとんど石畳。それだけ古い街なのです！） 久しぶりに授業もなく、ひとりの時間を持てた１日でした。

Today we met another swedish woman.Her name was Maria. She was in Japan for a year when she was a high school student. She suggested that we have a meatball evening because we had not eaten typically Swedish food yet. Her brother,like her, is interested in Japanese culture,too and he'll come back to Lund next week. So we decided to organize a party next week. We cooked Okonomiyaki for our supper with Thomas. We enjoyed the meal and talked enthusiastically to eath other. After that,I went to bed at 1.30 a.m. Good night! この日は少し遠出を。 まずギャラリーのようなところに連れて行ってもらった。 コスタボダという、南スウェーデンのガラスだとか、シルクスクリーンだとかを見る。 （この後、コスタボダぞっこんになった。日本でもつい探してしまう。） ルンドのあるスコーネ地方は、昔からガラスの有名なところ。 いくつも工房があります。 ギャラリーの庭にはちゃんと花が植わっているのだけど、 短い夏のせいか、春・夏・秋の花が一斉に咲いているのがおもしろい。 そのあと湖のほとりでランチ！ あいにくの雨ですが、ゴハンはうんまい！ photo by Yasuko 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　↑付け合せのクランベリージェリーがかなり美味しかった。 ふるい教会にも行った。 中世の教会には素朴さが残っていてなんとなくユーモラスに思える。 内壁のペイントは手書き。 ステンドグラスにも愛嬌がある。 ちょっと司教気分です！アーメン。 photo by Yoshiyuki スウェーデン国旗の色の傘。 夜、Thomasがゲストハウスに遊びに来る。 Thomasは、たしかこのときもう２９歳くらい（だったかな？）のスウェーデン人なんだけど、 どこか子供っぽいというか、いい意味で無邪気な感じの人だった。 日本にも何度か留学しにきていて、日本語ペラペラ。 ポン酒を開け、なんかこの夜は結構恋愛談義をした気がします。 花火したり。 いわゆるフツーの大学生が、大学近くの居酒屋でやるタイプの飲み会だった気がする。 それが楽しいんだよねー。

Today we had the first class of Easy Swedish. We learned several useful Swedish words and phrases,and tried pronoucing them. Some Swedish words are similar to English ones.It was very interesting. Afterthat we saw one of the Swedish movies which is called "Tsatziki,Mom and the Policeman." Tsatziki is the name of Greek food.I traveled around Greece last year and ate it there. It seems the Swedish people like Greek or Turkish food because I can see a lot of Kebab stands on rhe streets and there are several Greek food restaurants in Lund and Malmo. スウェーデンのようなヨーロッパ北部の人って、ギリシャみたいなヨーロッパ南部に憧れあるのかなって思ったんだ。 スウェ語、全然分からない。 なんだかベーシックな日常会話だけ覚えて、 文法とかは全くやらなかったから、今じゃ「カンパイ（スコー）」しか覚えてないや。

After some classes,we tried the Swedish folk dance today. I like the dance which dances with four people and starta with eight steps. It looked very cimplicated but in fact,it was very easy. The Swedishpeople who were there taught us how to dance eagarly. I didn't understand everything that they said but I got to know how to dance. That's because we learned it by heart or body,but in the head. スウェーデンのダンスを習いに行った。 日本でいったら盆踊りみたいなものか？（違うかも…しかも私東京音頭さえ踊れない） ダンスってね、言葉わからなくても習える。 ペアになって踊るのが多くて、迷惑かけないように頑張るのだった。 だんだん慣れてきて、なんとかついていけて、踊りきった時に、 むっちゃ素敵なお兄様から「オールモスト！」ってにっこり微笑まれたときに、 Almostって単語の使い方を完璧に理解できた。 体臭が強過ぎるおじいさまとは、極力息を止めてたんだが どうしても吸ってしまう。ジレンマ…笑。

Today we had the last class of Lonny,so we gave him the farewell card and I wrote his name in Japanese calligraphy. I have learned Japanese calligraphy since I was fouryears old till thirteen. I couldn't be sure that I could write well because I have not written for a long time. I needed some practice.I gave it to him when we met in the Malmo featival. We saw the live of Sahara Hot Night and the Salsa dancing with Bo Elisabeth and Lonny. We had a very good time but we were very sorry we could not say good-bye to Lonny.

Today started with the Viking class with Caroline's plastic papa whose name was Sten. After that we sang songs with Bo Caroline and Elizabeth.Elizabeth played the violin.Some of Swedish songs we sang were sad and sometimes they seemed a little bit cruel.I think some kinds of folk songs have this character.I don't know why but I think this character adds beauty to the songs.

Today we visited the house of the elderly.We met some women who were living there.One of them,her name was Maria,looked younger than her age.She was lovely and it seemed that she liked to talk with someone as most of the young girls like.her room looked very comfortable.I think it may be easier that old people keep their confidence in Sweden. 　In the evening,we went to see Elizabeth's rehaeasal.It was my first time that such a lot of violinists played in front of me!It was quite nice.

Today started with the Political Science class.This was one of the most interesting lectures for me.I'm sorry I should have studied more in detail about Swedish Political situation before this summer program. 　After some classes we went to Malmo.We were invited to the Meatball Evenning at Caroline's house.I was so surprised because Caroline made all the meal by herself. We had delicious dinner together and her friends sang many songs in a very beautiful voice.Such a wonderful time.I love to sing songs and listened to music.I feel music makes my heart free.

Actually I was not good today.I don't like to say "I'm tired"but in fact I might be a little bit tired for these several days.Today we saw a lot of Swedish movies partly in Bo's class.I'd like to see those entirely but I know it's impossible.When I go back to Japan,I'm going to look for those Swedish movies. 　After Bo's class, we visited the elementary school.When we arrived all the classes in the school were finished.Some children stayed in school and played with friends or eating snacks.All of them remainded me my elementary school days.
