リリース、待ちに待って買ったALYSON AVENUE
のデビューアルバム、いや、これは凄い、凄いアルバム。
メロは全盛期のHEART（疾走Tuneは無いが）に北欧っぽさを加えた感じ、Vocal
は DANTE FOX の人を若々しくしたような感じ。
北欧哀愁をたたえた美しいMELODY
に天使のような歌声とエッジの効いたギターがのる。このギターがしっかり弾いているおかげで、並みのきれいなだけのAORで終わらせない、HARDROCKの側面をみせてくれる。また各曲に必ずフックがあって単調にならず飽きさせない。全曲素晴らしい、あえてあげれば私は
⑤ONE DESPERATE HEART が最高。

は絶対に嫌だとかいう偏見が無い人なら必ず買うべき一枚でしょう。
AOR HEAVEN releases, looks forward eagerly,
and here is the debut album of ALYSON AVENUE.
This is great album! Melody has feeling of HEART of the glory
period (thouhg speed tune is not involved) with Northern European
taste, vocal is like that of DANTE FOX with youth.
The hardedged guitar and voice like the angel is on a roll in
beautiful melody filled with the Northern European taste. This
guitar make the sound not only soft AOR but also firmly hardrock.
Moreover, there must be a hook in each tune, not become
monotonous.
All of the tune is good , but if daring to choose, ONE DESPERATE
HEART is the highest for me.
If you are fan of AOR and the melodious HARDROCK, and not have
the prejudice for woman vocal, this might be a album with full of
consent.

| Q3. | このアルバムについて自由に語ってください 自分達に表現できないことにあえてチャレンジはしていません、私たちの音楽のスタイルはいつもこうです。 ただ、今までの活動を通じて、あくまでも自然な形で進歩してきていると思います、我々は若返っていくわけではないですからね・・・？ メンバー各々でアルバム中の好きな曲が異なっている点が面白いと思います。 現時点で、私の好きな曲はややソフトな Tell Me You Love Me （Or Leave Me） です、少々POPですが、何週間も頭に残っているんです。 あるいは、毎週金曜日に家に戻ると私は Free Like The Wind を大音量で聴くんです、自然とパーティー気分になってにやけてきます。個人的には All This Time は ベスト AOR ソング だと考えています。 |
| Q4. | 今後どんなプランがありますか？ アルバムの日本でのリリース予定、日本でのコンサートの予定はありますか？ 我々は２ndアルバムの曲作りに着手しています、また、北欧マーケットに向けての Presence Of Mind のプロモキット（？）の準備を進めています。 日本でこのアルバムがリリースされたら最高でしょうね、我々はこれに関してはまだ何の契約も得ていません、が、努力はしています。 日本へ訪問するまでにはもうしばらく時間がかかりそうですが、もし、日本でアルバムがリリースされ、好評を得られたらツアーのチャンスが得られると思います。 ただ、もう少し様子を見る必要があるでしょうね、分かっていただきたいのですが、これはバンドが望むかそうでないかだけの問題ではないのです。ツアーを行うためにはたくさんの条件がそろわなければなりません、まずは私たちの音楽への関心をモニターするところから始めなければならないのです。もしも、多大な反響が得られ良好なセールスが得られれば全てが可能になるでしょう。 |
| Q5. | 北欧でのメロディアスハードロック市場をどう思いますか？ また、もしあれば最近注目している北欧のバンドを教えてください スウェーデン・北欧には極めて小さなAOR市場しかありません。 中央ヨーロッパにはもう少し大きな市場がありますが、それもかつて－80年代のようにこの種の音楽でも大成功を得ることができた時代－の比ではありません。 でも、どうしたことか、私は ８０’S がカムバックしてくる手応えを感じています。 他の北欧バンドでは STREETTALK がお気に入りです、彼らはグレートなミュージシャンですし、クールなスタイルを持っていると思います。 |

introduce the member, and your career of music activity. Alyson Avenue are: Anette Blyckert - microphone, Niclas Olsson - keyboards, Thomas Lsk・- Bass Tony Rohtla - Guitars Rogar Landin- Drums. We have played together since -89 but we've had a few changes in the line-up during this time. We come from very different musical backgrounds. AC/DC, Toto, Robin Beck etc We like to keep our music full of harmonies to make it less sleazy. A fresh sound works better for us.Besides, when you have the possibility to affect people through the music, it's a far better thing to promote joy, love and happiness rather than destructive feelings. |

teach your favorite singers, bands, and albums. Absolute favourites are "Living in Oz" by Rick Springfield and "The Seventh One" by Toto. We also like The Storm, Journey and a lot of others. As long as the music is true and well performed it's enjoyable. If another band member answered these questions you would hear about totally different albums and artists. |

talk free about this album, recommend or remarkable
points. I think it is a remarkable point that heavier guitar and tender melody is mixed successfully and skillfully. (I love such style ! ) Did you dare to be aimed at such sound? We did not try to achieve anything we couldn't stand for. Our style has always been like this. Naturally there has been a few improvements regarding our style over the years, but they have all been natural.We are not getting any younger, right...? The greatest thing about this album is that everyone has his/her own favourite song. At this time I like the softer "Tell Me You Love Me (or leave me)". It's a little more POP-style, but still it does get stuck in your head for weeks. Every Friday when coming home to my house I play "Free like the wind" really loud. I get a party-feeling and a big smile get attached to my face. I personally think that "All This Time" is the best AOR song. |

plan do you have next ? Is there a plan of release of the album and a live tour in Japan? We are now beginning to write new songs that hopefully will be released as our second album. We are also putting together a "Presence of Mind - Promo-Kit" for the Scandinavian market. Releasing the album in Japan would be great. We do not have any contracts pointing in that direction yet, but we're working on it. I guess we have to wait a little longer before we can visit Japan. If we release the album in Japan and it get well received I guess there's a chance for a tour. We have to wait and see. It's, as I hope you understand, not a question about if we want to or not. There's a lot of stuff involved in making any tour. We have to start by monitoring the interest in our kind of music. If there's a huge interest and a lot of sales, I guess anything is possible. |
| Q5. | How do
you think about scandinavian melodious HR market? And if ther is, tell us lately scandinavian band you pay attention to. There's a quite small AOR and HR-market in Sweden and Scandinavia. The middle European market is slightly bigger but it's not near what it used to be. In the eighties this music had a huge success. Somehow I feel that there's a good possibility for the eighties to "come back". Among other Scandinavian bands, I like "StreetTalk". They are great musicians and have a cool style. |
