I know many people who don't
understand Japanese feel disgusting cause Double's
official site ( Groove Site ) ain't have any English
version of it, and wanna know more specificly about
what Double have been doing since they debut in 1998.
So I translated some topics and introduce some extra
infos in detail. I hope this page will help you know
more about Double. Thankyou.

They enjoyed singing their
chorus since they were very young. Sachiko was said
to be so well at singing since then.

They started to learning
English when Sachiko was 16 y/o, Takako 14y/o. They
actually are 3 sisters and Sachiko and Takako began
to have interests in the CDs which their eldest
sister Noriko bring from US.

Sachiko majored in psychology
at national University in Nigata pref. She was really
interested in human's thoughts and feelings.

Their exchange between American
family made them be good at the skill of their
English. They loved to listen to Babyface, R. Kelly,
Janet Jackson, The Braxtons and began to have strong
sense to be professional singer. But Sachiko had
priority over her school works, and Sachiko and
Takako started to sing on the street as the part time
job at HURUMACHI(a name of down town) in Nigata pref.
They sung Mariah Carey, TLC etc.

Sachiko and Takako passed the
audition that held by Forlife Records, and start to
live in Tokyo. It's said that their friends send
their casette tape to the company.

They started the regular live
at basement of United Air Force in Yokota. (till Mar.
1998) There had been no Japs on the stage there for
27 years till Double accomplished heroic achievement.
Songs they sung there: "Flow Slow"(by
BRAXTONS), "Diggin' On You"(by TLC),
"Real Love"(by Mary J. Blige), "Every
You (Don'na iikoto)"(by SMAP) etc. Japanese
songs were translated into English by Sachiko.
"Diggin' On You" in the album "Crystal
Planet" was one of these.

hometown, Niigata. But it canceled suddenly and there
were a paper stuck that says "Sachiko's physical
condition is not well, so today's live were
canceled"... Some media review for her death,
and I knew it by a certain information program in the
morning on May 25th. Many many fans were perplexed at
her sudden mortality and felt so sad. I was one of
them. MATSUO KC Kiyoshi said "Double just
reached the head. It's true that her life was so
short, but also very thick. She was happy, I
guess." Mummy-D said " Sachiko always late
