このコーナーでは、私が最近よく聴いている曲を紹介しようと思います。「今頃そんな曲聴いているの？」「お前、時代遅れだよ。」と言われそうな曲があるかと思います。しかし、当たり前の事を言わせていだだくなら、”いつ聴いても良い曲こそ名曲なのです”。名曲を聴くのにいつ聴いたとか、遅れてるとか、そんな事は関係無いと思います。日本人にありがちなのが、新曲が出ると直ぐ買って聴いて、直ぐ飽きてしまう傾向がありますね。まぁ、これはカラオケで早くみんなに聴かせたいというのがあると思うのでしょうが。果たしてそういった曲が後世に残っていくのでしょうか？（特に日本の曲）この事は「私的音楽意見」で触れるとして、では、最近のお気に入りの曲は、デレク・アンド・ザ・ドミノスの「キープ・オン・グロウイング」です。 It thinks that the tune which I listen to well recently will be introduced in this corner. It thinks whether there is a tune said as "Is it listening to such a tune now?" "You are old-fashioned." But, when it lets me say that it is natural, "The tune which you may listen to when is a masterpiece." It listens what time though it listens to the masterpiece, and it is late, and such a thing isn't thought that there are relations. When a new tune comes out, it is bought soon, and it listens, and shows a tendency to tire the thing for a Japanese that to tend to have soon. Well, this are thought that there is a thing which says that it wants all to listen early with the karaoke. Is the tune said so as expected left in the future? (especially, a Japanese tune) Supposing that it touches it in the "The Opinion Of Me About Music", well a recent liked tune is "Keep On Growing" of Derek And The Dominos.
いとしのレイラ／デレク・アンド・ザ・ドミノス Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs/Derek And The Dominos レーベル／番号：ポリドール／POCP-2541 Label/Catalog Number:Polydor/531 820 発売日：１９７０年１１月 Original Release Date: 11/1970 最高位：１６位 Highest Chart Position:16 1.アイ・ルックド・アウェイ I Looked Away 2.ベル・ボトム・ブルース Bell Bottom Blues 3.キープ・オン・グロウイング Keep On Growing 　　　　　　　　　　　　　 4.だれも知らない Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out 5.アイ・アム・ユアズ I Am Yours 6.エニデイ Anyday 7.ハイウェイへの関門 Key To The Highway 8.テル・ザ・トゥルース Tell The Truth 9.恋は悲しきもの Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad? 10.愛の経験 Have You Ever Love A Woman 11.リトル・ウイング Little Wing 12.イッツ・トゥー・レイト It's Too Late 13.いとしのレイラ Layla 14.庭の木 Thorn Tree In The Garden デレク・アンド・ザ・ドミノス：エリック・クラプトン（ギター、リード・ヴォーカル）、ボビー・ホイットロック（オルガン、ピアノ、ヴォーカル、アコーステック・ギター）ジム・ゴードン（ドラム、パーカッション、ピアノ）、カール・レイドル（ベース、パーカッション）、デュアン・オールマン（ギター）「今頃この曲を聴いているのか？」と、どこからともなくそういった声が聞こえてきそうですが、いいんです。１９７０年に結成されたデレク・アンド・ザ・ドミノスのアルバム「いとしのレイラ」の三曲目に入っている曲。エリック・クラプトンとボビー・ホイットロックによる共作。イントロのギター・リフから既に格好いいですね。クラプトンとホイットロックのはもった歌も最高です。ギター・ソロはもう言うことないですね。エンディング辺りのギター・ソロが得に凄いですね。それから、後ろで聞こえるパーカッション（コンガ？）もこの曲にバッチリはまっていますね。バックでリズムをキープしているベースのカール・レイドルとドラムのジム・ゴードンもいいですね。この曲の何が良いかと言うと、曲はもちろんなのですが、詩の内容はおそらくラブ・ソングだと思いますが、まさにタイトルの「キープ・オン・グロウイング」、つまり成長し続けようというメッセージを聴いていると元気が出て来るんですよね。何か壁にぶつかった時に聴くとよいかもしれませんね。曲の終わり方も洒落ていてよいですよ。「いとしのレイラ」は皆さんは一度はどこかで耳にした曲だと思います。しかし、このアルバムには他にも名曲がずらりと収録されています。一度試聴してみてはいかがでしょうか？このバンドがこのアルバムとライブ・アルバム一枚で解散したのはとても残念ですね。 Derek And The Dominos: Eric Crapton(guitar,lead vocal),Bobby Whitlock(organ,piano,vocals,acoustic guitar) Jim Gordon(drums,percussion,piano),Carl Radle(bass,percussion),Duane Allman(guitar) It is good though it can seem to hear "Is it listening to this tune now?" and anything or the voice said so. The tune which appears for the 3rd song of the album "Layla" of Derek And The Dominos that it is organized in 1970. A work by Eric Crapton and Bobby Whitlock.A shape has already been said from the guitar riff of intro. Harmonized the song by Crapton and Whitlock is the best,too.There is no what has already been said in the guitar solo. The guitar solo of around ending is specially terrific. Then, percussion (conga?) which it sounds like in the back fits for this tune, too. Carl Radle flipping bass and Jim Gordon being struck drum are good with keeping rhythm in the back, too. Vigor comes out to the contents of the poetry when it is listening to the message that let's keep growing really though it thinks that it is probably love song though a tune is of course when it is said what of this tune is good. It may be good when it listens when a feeling is depressed.The way that a tune is finished can dress itself up, too. "Layla" is thought to be the tune which everyone heard once in something. But, this album is containing a masterpiece in a row besides, too. Do you try to do a demonstration once, and how do you like it? It is very much disappointed that this band broke up in this album and one sheet of live album.

In The U.S.A. 12.僕だって仲間 The Kind Of Fella I Am ジョン・クーガー・メレンキャンプ：ジョン・クーガー・メレンキャンプ（ヴォーカル）、ケニー・アロノフ（ドラム）、トビー・マイヤーズ（ベース）マイク・ウォンチック（ギター）、ラリー・クレイン（ギター、ハーモニカ）、ジョン・キャスセラ（キーボード）　（当時のメンバーです）アメリカのロック界のボスはブルース・スプリングスティーン。ジョン・クーガー・メレンキャンプ（今はジョン・メレンキャンプ）は兄貴といった感じでしょうか？しかし、彼も既に４９歳。遅咲きのロック・シンガーで３０歳を過ぎてから華開いた。この曲「スモール・タウン」は私が中学生の頃にヒットした曲で最高位は６位。テープにはアルバムを録音していて聴いていたが最近になってCDを買って改めて聴いてみると凄く良いアルバムでした。中学生の頃は歌詞カードなど見ないで音楽だけを楽しんでいましたが、最近は気に入った曲は「どんなことを歌っているのだろう？」と訳した歌詞カードを見るようになりました。この曲の歌詞の内容はジョン自身の故郷であるインディアナ州の町の事を歌っているのだと思います。私の住んでいるところも小さい町で、その中でもまわりは山に囲まれ家も数件しかないところです。子供の頃からこの土地で親しんできて、となりに住んでいたお兄さん達によく遊んでもらったりしていたものです。しかし、田舎特有のおせっかいな所があり、最近では近所を干渉したりとうっとおしい所があります。しかし子供の頃から住んでいたものでこの土地が好きですね。この歌詞にも出てくるように都会を批判しているわけではないです。それぞれが子供の頃から生活してきた故郷を大切にしようということですね。田舎、都会に限らず。曲としてはシンプルなロックですね。自分の町は小さいけど誇りに思っている、というジョンの気持ちが感じられる曲です。途中のジョンとバック・ヴォーカルのハーモニーがいいですね。バックのオルガンもいいですね。今は売れっ子ドラマーのケニーは相変わらず上手いですね。音楽はその名の通り最初は音でその曲を気に入るものです。しかし、その曲の歌詞がどんな内容なのか、どんな事を歌っているのか見てみると、さらに好きになっていくかもしれませんよ（その逆もあるかもしれませんが）。この曲は私がそれを実感した曲のひとつですね。 John Couger Mellencamp: John Couger Mellencamp(Vocal),Kenny Aronoff(Drums),Toby Myers(Bass) Mike Wanchic(Guitar),Larry Crane(Guiar,Harmonica),John Casella(Keyboard) (It is a member in those days) The boss of the American Rock world is Bruce Springsteen.Is John Couger Mellencamp(now,John Mellencamp) a feeling like an older brother?But,he has already been 49 years old, too.A flower bloomed after the thing which sold passed 30 years old with rock singer which it was late of. As for this tune "Small Town", an extreme high rank is the sixth prize with the tune that I was a hit at the time of the junior high school student.Though an album was recorded and it was listening, a CD was bought, and renewed, and it was a terribly good album in the tape when it tried to listen.The tune liked recently though it was enjoying only music without the words card seeing the time of the junior high school student came to see the words card translated "What kind of thing is being sung?" The contents of the words of this tune are thought that the thing of the town of the State of Indiana which is John's own home is being sung. A neighborhood is surrounded with the town whose place where I live is small,too,even of that by a mountain, and a house is the place where there are only several cases,too. I sometimes had the older brothers who lived so that it might get acquainted in this land from its childhood and it might be play well.But,there is big care which is characteristic of the country, and interferes,and there is a bothering place recently the neighborhood.But,it likes this land by the thing which it lived in from its childhood. A city isn't always criticized for these words as well to come out.It is that each will treasure the home which it has lived in from its childhood.It isn't limited to the country,the city. It is simple rock as a tune.A town is the tune that it feels a feeling of John which it is proud of though it is small. The harmony of the middle John and backing vocal is good.The organ of the back is good,too. Kenny of the popular man drummer is good as before now. Music likes the tune first as the name by the sound.But,it may come to like it further when it tries to see whether the words of the tune are what kind of contents or what kind of thing is being sung.(There may be reverse, too.) This tune is one of the tunes that I realized it.

イージュー★ライダー／奥田民生 Easyou Rider / Tamio Okuda レーベル／番号：ソニー・レコーズ／SRDL 4213 Label/Catalog Number:Sony Records/SRDL 4213 発売日：１９９６年６月２１日 Original Release Date: 21/6/1996 最高位：位 Highest Chart Position: 1.イージュー★ライダー Easyou Rider 2.ルパン三世主題歌Ⅱ LupunⅢTheme SongⅡ 奥田民生：奥田民生（ヴォーカル、ギター）、他のバック・メンバーは不明。この曲も「スモール・タウン」と同様に、歌詞に共感を受けた曲です。邦楽はあまり聴かない私ですが、バンドで奥田民生のコピーをやっていたので、今では好きなミュージシャンの１人ですね。彼の曲の歌詞や曲調には一見ふざけたようなものが多数ありますが（それが彼の持ち味なのでしょうが）、この曲は私達ロック・ファン（音楽ファンと言った方がいいのでしょう）の心情を歌っているように思います（個人的意見です）。どことなく現実逃避を感じさせる歌詞ですが、誰しもそういった事を感じたことはあるはずです。それ以上に、いつまでもこういった気持ちを持ち続けようという、私達サラリーマンでありながら音楽ファンに対するメッセージが込められていると思います。おそらく映画「イージー・ライダー」に触発されて作った曲だと思いますが。とにかく、日本の音楽ファンに対する賛歌だと私は感じています。曲調は”日本的”なロックで、バックで演奏されているオルガンが印象に残る曲です。 Tamio Okuda: Tamio Okuda(Vocal,Guitar),Other back members aren't clear. This tune is the tune which received sympathy in the words in the same way as "Small Town",too. A Japanese music is one of the favorite musicians nowadays because the copy of Tamio Okuda was done with the band though it is I who doesn't listen very much. Though the thing which is seemingly silly is in many for the words of his tune and the tune style, this tune thinks (It is his characteristic)that the feeling of us rock fan (You had better say a music fan.)is being sung.(It is a personal opinion.) It was supposed to feel what anyone said so once though it was not here with where and they were the words which made it feel actual escape. It thinks that a message toward the music fan is being put any further until when as well with being we salaried worker that let's keep having a feeling said like this. It thinks that it is the tune which was probably touched off by a movie "Easy Rider" and which was made. Anyway,I feel to be a song in praise toward the Japanese music fan. A tune style is the tune that the organ being played in the back is left in the impression with "Japan-like" rock.
