ANATHEMAを解雇されたDarrn J Whiteが１０週間のインド旅行後CRADLE OF FILTHを脱退したメンバーと結成した。
サウンド的にはDarrnの最後の参加作となった「PENTECOST III」の延長にある感じ。より、キーボードをフューチャーした
形でドラマティックで、Darrnのヴォーカルもかなりエモーショナルになっている。
「Moonlight Adorns」の中で聴けるBenjamin Ryanのキーボードは非常にミステリアス。 「These Deepest Feelings」と「Warm Summer Rain」でANATHEMAの初期のアルバムで美しい歌声を聞かせてくれた Luthの歌声がまた聞ける。「In Crimson Dreams」の後半の展開はかっこいいリフの応酬で感激。 |

THE BLOOD DIVINE のセカンドアルバム。オルガンを使っているからかもしれないけど THE DOORS の曲に
似ている感じがする。かなりかっこいい曲が多くて個人的に気に入っている。しかしこのアルバムを最後にこのバンドは
解散してしまう。残念だと思う。このアルバムジャケットはダーレン・ホワイトがデザインを手がけている。
このジャケットもアルバムタイトルをイメージするのに合っていると思う。
２曲目の「As Rapture Fades」はアコースティックギターがとてもいいのに加えてキーボードがそれに磨きをかけて いるような感じでよいです。８曲目の「Enhanced By Your Touch」はキーボードもギターリフもかっこいいです。 |
