Born in Royama family, Kitami, Hokkaido.
Family moved to Tokyo in 1972.
Yoko learned piano between ages 4 and 15.
In high school, Yoko studied about art, especially oil-painting.
After high school, Yoko had been in musical academy for learning keyboard playing and arranging,
and joined cover band of Renaissance and Illusion.
In 80's Yoko had been working as a computer programmer in the software company.
In 1984, Yoko founded her original progressive rock band called "VERMILION SANDS".

In 1987, married with Masahiro Yamada.
Masahiro is the composer and keyboard player of VERMILION SANDS,
and he is also important digital engineer for Toshiba company.

In 1997, Yoko had a daughter.
