BY-LAWS OF THE PLAINTIFF GROUP
Before becoming an affiliate of the plaintiff group, please read and make sure that you understand the following bylaws of the plaintiff groupfs lawsuit for suspending development of the Iriomote resort.
Section 1: General Principles
Item 1: Name. The plaintiff group will be called gThe Plaintiff Group for Stopping the Development of Iriomote Resort.h
Item 2: Headquarters. The plaintiff groupfs headquarters will be located at 621 Ji-Iriomote, Taketomi-Cho, Yaeyama-Gun, Okinawa-Ken, Japan.
Item 3: Membership Composition. The plaintiff group will be composed of all of its affiliates.
Item 4: Administrative Office. The plaintiff groupfs administrative office is located in [[[Tokyo Yumanite Law Office]]], 4-3-28-302 Kudan-Kita, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo 102-0073, Japan.
Item 5: Administrative Committee. In order to execute the plaintiff groupfs affairs, an administrative committee will be formed. Members of this committee will be nominated from among the groupfs affiliates.
Item 6: Officers. Both a representative and a financial auditing officer will be chosen from among the plaintiff groupfs affiliates.
Section 2: Purpose
Item 7: Purpose. The purpose of this plaintiff group is to bring a lawsuit as well as other relevant judicial proceedings against Unimat Real Estate, Inc. and its associated companies as a means to stop construction of the Iriomote resort in the Ji-Narizaki area of Uehara, Taktomi-Cho, Yaeyama-Gun, Okinawa-Ken, Japan.
Section 3: Requirements for Becoming a Lawsuit Affiliate
Item 8: Qualifications for Affiliation. All of those who agree with the purpose indicated in Item 7 of Section 2 and wish to become an affiliate of the plaintiff group are qualified to do so regardless of sex, age, occupation, beliefs, area of residence, and nationality.
Item 9: Payment of membership fee. Those who wish to become an affiliate must pay a membership fee of $100(US dollars). Students, young people under the age of 20, and citizens of Taketomi Ward will pay $50 (US dollars). In the future, membership fees may be reduced as the number of participants in the plaintiff group increases. However, once the membership fee is paid, it is not refundable under any circumstances.
Section 4: Activities of the Plaintiff Group.
Item 10: Lawsuits to stop construction. On the grounds of protecting personal rights, the plaintiff group will file lawsuits against Unimat Real Estate, Inc. and its associates in order to stop the construction of resort(s). Its affiliates will continue to engage in lawsuits and other legal processes deemed necessary for stopping similar construction projects.
Item 11: Decision making process. Fundamental decisions concerning the activities mentioned in Item 10 of this section will be made through administrative meetings. In these meetings, the intentions of the plaintiff group will be confirmed and mundane business affairs will be addressed.
Item 12: Consultation with defense council. The plaintiff group will consult with the bar association regarding the lawsuit when decisions are made as mentioned in the Item 11 of this section.
Item 13: Activity Report and Treasurerfs Report. The plaintiff groupfs administrative meetings will make activity reports available via a plaintiff group homepage. Financial reports will also be made in these meetings.
Section 5: Amendment of Regulations
Item 14: Conditions for Amendment. The plaintiff group can revise the present agreement under a majority vote.
Item 15: Efficacy of the regulations. Any amendments mentioned in Item 14 of this section are valid once a majority vote has been achieved.
