Minamisenzoku Ota-ku Tokyo
You will find Senzoku-pond when you pass to the Senzokuike station's exit.Senzoku-pond that has a large area about 40000�uwas famous for "Senzokuike-kesagakematu"drawn by Hirosige Utagawa who was a very prominence artist in Japan(Edo era 1603-1866)

Water source of Senzoku-pond come from "Shimizukubo" that's position is between Ota-ku and Meguro-ku.
We know that the original form of Senzoku-pond was made 3000years ago.And 5500-6500 years ago,this land around Senzoku-pomd has been sea!

　

There are many histric trace around here.East border of this pond, there is Myoufuku-temple that is known to "Kesagake-pain tree" by people.

　

　

Kaishu Katu(1823-1899)who was a hero of Japanese History loved the sight of Senzoku-pond.
