本校ではアメリカ合衆国アリゾナ州フェニックス近郊にあるMAYA HIGHT SCHOOLをパートナー校として、MTPプロジェクト“BUGS & SOIL”を行っています。このプロジェクトは身のまわりの自然（林や草原）に成育する昆虫や植物、そしてその基になる土壌について観察、調査することによりそれらの関係を見ていこうとするものです。さらにその経過、結果をインターネット上で公開し日本国内および米国の学校間で、お互いに情報交換、あるいは交流していこうとするものです。本年度は、生物部およびこの４月に開設された国際理数コースの生徒のみなさんに取り組んでもらいました。第１回目は４月２７日、５月８日、第２回目は９月に実施しました。
In our school MTP project BUGS&SOIL is
done with MAYA HIGHT SCHOOL in the suburbs
of Arizona Phoenix . We investigate those
relations between insects ,plants and the
soil in this project. And the results will
be opened to the public on the internet ,
so we associate to each other in the Japanese
students and the United States students.
This year biology club and international
science course students will do this project.
The first time this was carried out on April
27 on May 8.And second time this will be
carried out on September.
