Weird stuff that goes to Sonic & Knuckles Collection for the PC. I have not tried it on the Japanese Import version yet. I got into hacking SONIC3K.BIN, and using hex codes just like SonicHacking.Org's Sonic 3 & Knuckles Genecyst Savestates hacking page.

Look here. Knuckles with Sonic data playable on Sonic & Knuckles Collection. It's Lava Reef Zone Act 1, but it's title card on the red says "SONIC 3"! Looks like a bug fix to me.

Look again to the next picture. In Sonic 3 & Knuckles for Sega Genesis, when you clear Act 1, it's a bit buggy, but if you do the same thing on Sonic & Knuckles Collection, the whole screen will get changed up even if you go to Act 2 of any Zone. If you just lose a life, it's normal again.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 I just picked for playing, then went to Flying Battery Zone Act 1 all the way to Hidden Palace Zone. When I went past where I am supposed to fight Knuckles the Echidna, then I went to where I can jump on Super Emerald when I touch the Super Flashing Ring. I jumped into one of them, and I failed to win the Special Stage as Blue Knuckles. I got this screen. One EMERALD is Blue and Brown, another one is grey and brown, and two of them is the same. When the Special Stage Fanfare Screen passes, it took me back to Flying Battery Zone Act 1 where the Super Ring was, but It's still there to get into special stage.
