バス釣りについての考察 Consideration of Bass-fishing

ソフトルアー全盛の今日のバスフィッシングは、どうしても釣りたい気持ちは分かるもののちょっぴり寂しい気がする。
そのソフトルアーも、最近のものは本物と変わらないほど精巧にできており、殆ど餌釣りと同じなような気がする。プラグについてもミノーはこれまた本物そっくりで、魚どころか猫まで釣れてしまいそうである。しかも大量生産のプラスチック製だから驚いてしまう。 　一昔前にも精巧にできた「リアルミノー」がバスアングラーを魅了したことがあった。バルサボディにアルミ箔を貼ったハンドメイドルアーのことである。HMKL、KIKUCHI、WOODBAIT　など、それらは道具を超えた芸術品であった。かくいう私もその影響でオリジナルミノーを開発した。そして、初めて自作ルアーでランカーを釣り上げたときの興奮は今でも忘れない。 　ルアー制作に自信がついてくると、今度は羽鳥氏のトップウォーター・プラグに挑戦したくなった。
Regarding to the recent bass fishing, I feel a little sad because most anglers use soft lures very often. The more recent ones look like the real thing, there is a feeling as the same as the bait fishing almost. This about the plug, and also genuine and minnows are similar and they seem that they have been possible to fish to the cat in addition to the fish by them. Moreover, they are great deal of production and we have been surprised because they are plastic.
More than 10 years ago, there were some attractive "Real Minnow" for the bass anglers. They are made from balsa and aluminum foil and namded HMKL、KIKUCHI、WOODBAIT. They were the artwork which exceeded an implement. I also developed original-minnow in the influence. Then, I don't forget still, too, the excitement when catching a big bass with the the first time own composition lure. When the confidence followed lure creating, this time, I got to want to challenge to creat the top water plug like Mr.Hatori's.

私がこよなく愛した羽鳥氏の作品に「ノーティブラッド」がある。見てくれはド派手なポッパーで、本当にこんなんで釣れるのかな？と初めは思っていたが、ただ引きでくねくねと泳ぎ、同時にカポカポとスイッシュ音をたてるので、広範囲からバスがアタックしてくる実に優れた作品であった。今はすでに隠居しているが、随分いい思いをさせてもらった。 　トップウォータープラグもいくつか制作したが、当然のことながら羽鳥氏の作品に匹敵するものは生まれなかった。それでも、バスフィッシングの楽しみ方の１つにプラグで釣る、とりわけトップウォーターで釣ることがあることを確信した。 　気持ちにゆとりを持って、せめて最初はプラグを投げてみよう。
There is " Naughty Blood " in the work of Mr. Hatori that I loved very much. I used to get nice bass by this plug. When I just reel in the line, it swims attractively and sounds clearly. Now, it was already retired but may be to ready to go in my tackle box now. I created some top water plugs, too, but the one which is to be consequential but is equal to the work of Mr. Hatori wasn't born. However, I was convinced that we sometime fished by the top water above all to fish with the plug to one of the ways of enjoyiass fishing.
At least, at first, let's attempt to throw a plug.
