１９５４年、名古屋市南区に生まれる。
物心がついた頃から釣好きの父親に連れられて、あちこちの溜め池へ鮒釣りに通った。その後、途切れることなく４０年以上に渡って釣りを趣味の１つとしている。野池以外にも海、川、沼、湖など、即ち水のあるところならどこにでも糸を垂れ、多種多様の釣りを習得してきた。今でも、水のあるところを通りかかると、すぐさま足を止め、覗き込み、地形、水深、水質、水流などから魚種を想像したりしている。夏は日本海に潜り、魚介類を観察するのも趣味の１つである。

I was born in 1954, Nagoya city, Minami-ku.
I used to go fishing with my father to get the crucian carp to here and there the reservoir. After that, I have been enjoying fishing as one of the hobbies to equal to or more than 40 years without breaking off. If being the place such as the sea, the river, the marsh, the lake where there there is water that is, to the thing except the field pond, too, anywhere, I have been trying to get several fish. When I pass the place where is water still, too, I stop walking immediately, I peep into it and imagine a fish species from the landform, the water depth, the water quality, the watercourse and so on.
In the summer, I dives in Japan Sea and it is one of my hobbies that I observe many kinds of fish.
