     The weight of my body was below the average, I was in an
incubator one day. But the next day, I was laid on a newborn 
baby's room.
     As soon as daddy finished his work, he came to hospital 
to see me. He took a picture or VTR of me, he sent these 
pictures and tapes to his parents in New York. 
     After 5 days, I left the hospital with mammy and went to 
grandma's house in Mitaka. 

      

     I was named as "MIYAKO" on the Name Day which is the 
7th day after I was born.
     MIYAKO means the capital. Because daddy is from Beijing
---the capital of P.R.China, and mammy lived in Tokyo---the
capital of Japan---for a long time. Mammy thought hard to
find a good name for me. 
     Grandma in New York knitted me sweaters.

     One month later, I was 52.4cm and 3,700g, doctor said 
"You've really grown!" 

     

     On October 10, according to Japanese custom "omiyamairi", 
I visited to the Kumano Shrine. Daddy, mammy and grandma 
prayed for my health.

      

     On October 27, I came home in Saitama and it was start 
of our new life.

     In November, daddy was away on a business trip for two 
weeks, so mammy was bustling about care of me.
