This is my grandparents' house in New York.
It is about 1 hour from Manhattan by car or train.
This big black car is my uncle's, named Lincoln.

It was the first time to visit New York for daddy, 
mammy and me! So, it was the first time to meet 
my grandparents for mammy and me!!
Daddy met his brother that they had not seen 
for seventeen years.

I was suffering from jet lag during we were 
staying here, daddy and mammy haven't had 
enough sleep.
When we want to go shopping, we must get 
into a car.

I call my grandmother "nai-nai", it means  
paternal grandmother in Chinese. 
I'm a first grandchild for my grandparents.

We visited the Statue of Liberty. We went by ship 
from New York Harbor to Liberty Island.
But I was so sleepy, I slept in my buggy when we
arrived there.

We also visited the World Trade Center Building.
This is a tall building, the view from window 
is magnificent!

In Japan, summer climate is very hot and stuffy,
but it is nice and cool here. 
There was a large park near here, I saw some 
squirrels in the park.

I call Jimmy "shu-shu", it means uncle in Chinese.
He is the very picture of my daddy, except he is 
bigger than my daddy. I like him very much.
He has a medium‐sized boat and we went boating 
on the coast.

I played hyde‐and‐seek in the front yard. 

We enjoyed our summer vacation very much!
