I am pleased that you were willing to join a group totally unknown to you. You were an inspiration, and a positive influence on the group. I should be the one saying thank you for joining the group! I hope you can make it next year.

Thanks to all for helping to create an incredible story to add to my collection of running memories. This one takes first place for most dramatic, most frightening, and most likely-to-leave-a-warm-fuzzy-feeling-because-of-the-amazing-level-of-camaraderie-exhibited.
Thank you all again.

Has anyone seen my legs. If so can you please send them to Houston.I did have a lot of laughs sharing the trials and tribulations with my staff here in the lone Star State.I will be toeing the line next Sunday at Bridge to Bridge and I look forward to seeing all of you on the start line.I would love to run next year with this same team who refuse to quit no matter what get's in our way.

Thanks for a terrific time! I am in stormy humid houston - saw John S. on the plane and he "briefed" me a bit on what happened yesterday! Sounds like the motley survivors were able to meet and get across the line! Outstanding! Also sounded like the relay folk were supportive of the advil addicts!
I am so proud of all of you! The spirit to do what we did, and then rise up, rally and finish - you are all awesome!
DJ, you are a stud! I never saw a dehydrated runner exude the kind of strength and energy you did! You have an incredible survival force – respect it, my friend! Hope you are healing quickly! And the vicadin and ibuprofens are working for ya! Keep me posted on progress. My wife (Violet) has asked me for regular updates! Hope to see you next year! All in fun!

Boy, what an adventure it was to be with you all this past weekend! For those of you in van two...you were the lucky ones! Mike and his camera are dangerous. The Man cuts no one any slack...not even new comers that are vulnerable and sensitive.
DJ, we are all so grateful you are doing better! Take care of your body and know we send you lots of love and healing energy. We were all pretty scared there for a while.
To all of you -- thanks for a memorable weekend! I was really quite touched at how "stabilized" you all are...except Mike, he is truly "outside the box" which explains a great deal.

I'm not quite sure whether I'll still be in the states by this time next year, but if I am, I'll definitely join this team to run the relay again. If I’m not, I'll fly back from Japan to run this relay!!!
Thanks, again, for the great memories.
