My first experience of foreign country was happened when I was 15 years old. I went to Sequim, Washington. I stayed there about a month and went to Sequim High School as a exchange student. I took classes at school following my host sister, Erin.
Did I have fun? Not really. I was a very shy girl, then. I couldn't talk, not only because of lack of my English, but also lack of courage to speak.
I didn't show my tears to anybody, but I was crying almost everyday, because I couldn't speak any words.
Everyday I could speak to my Japanese friends who went Sequim together.
Any way, I decided to study English hard, and come back to the U.S. and speak much more!
So, after came back to Japan, I studied really hard and I got a chance to go back to Sequim and study at Sequim High School for a whole school year as an exchange student.
I also got a chance to revenge.
I was very happy, but I would have a hard time again...
to be continued...
