湖水地方

氷河期に形成されたという湖が点在する湖水地方。イングランドの北西部にある湖と緑がきれいなところです。

ウインダミアからボウネスへ3kmほど歩いていくと、ウインダミア湖にたどり着きます。

観光地らしく、道の両側にはB&Bがたくさん並んでるところもあって、街並みもきれいなところです。

日が差したり、曇ったり、雨が降ったりとイングランド特有の天候を体感しつつ、ピーターラビットの作者、ビアトリクス・ポターが

住んでいたヒルトップまで歩いてきました。

当日はあまりに風が強くて、水鳥も陸に上がってうずくまってました…。

Lake District

Lake District, there are a lot of lake made in the ice age. This region where lake and green scenery is very beautiful is

located north west in England.

We arrive at Lake Windermere if we walk about 3km from Windermere to Bowness.

There are a lot of B&B belong streets and scenery of town is very beautiful. That atmosphere make us to feel sightseeing.

I experienced "England weather" (sun shine, cloudy, shower, strong wind ... ) all through the time I walked to Hill Top.

Hill Top is the house stayed by Beatrix Potter. She is well known writer of "Peter Rabbit".

At that day, water birds crouched on the ground, because of very very strong wind...

イングランドといえば…フィッシュ&チップス。白身魚のフライと、フライドポテトのことだそうで。塩とビネガーソースで食べます。結構おいしかったです。 When we hear England, we image the food ... is fish & chips. This is a fried fish & fried potatos. We eat this with solt & vinegar source. It was quite good.
